The empty diner stood in front of me. My car gave up on me midway into the woods, and this was the only source of life for miles. Yet something drew me to the lonely establishment, or maybe it was just the fact that I was hungry. I enter the diner, seeing ladies in their mid life crisis, sweep the floors. One of them looked up at me.
"Sit down wherever you'd like sweetie, I'll be right with you." She said in the most cigarette addict voice possible.
I was about to take the bench to my right, when I see a boy. The only soul remaining in this discarded diner. His black leather jacket zipped up to his chest. His blonde hair scooped back and gelled up. His pale skin just added more to his mysteriousness. It didn't take me long to realize the fluorescent blue lollipop he was sucking on.
I realize I'm in a trance when the same woman came back to me.
"Hey sweetie, ya gonna take a seat or what?" She stated, quite obnoxiously."Who's that boy?" I whispered to her not taking my eyes off him.
She glanced over to him, and then back to me with a confused face.
"Who are you talking about sweetie?"
I snap my head to her, also confused.
I look back to where the once mysterious boy was sitting."He's right the-"
He was gone.
