park jimin stepped out of the sleek black mercedes, his equally black shoes sludged against the wet ground. He put his earphones in, not hearing anything but the wind blowing hollowly, reflecting his feelings inside. he had been in such a rush last night he forgot to charge his phone. he decided to bring it anyway hoping that with his earphones in no one would attempt to talk to him. he walked through the huge steel gates for the 26th time that month. a few people gave him small smiles, he walked as if he had a destination in mind, as if his group of friends were waiting anxiously for him. sadly there was no group of friends. nevertheless his plan had worked, his earphones provided him with a sanctuary of isolation.

park jimin had attended Daegu School For Boys for exactly 28 days, he had recently moved from Busan, his home town to Daegu, his move was planned for a long time. his father owned a wealthy share of PARK AND OH .inc and made a executive decision to move, Mr Park informed his son that the Daegu branch needed more management and that he could be the only one to provide said management.

his first class was history, he sat in the free chair at the back of the class and brought out his notes waiting for the bell to sound. as it did a group of people walked through the heavy wood door, a few of them were laughing and the rest were complaining about it being too early in the day.

about thirty minutes into the period a small woman with a black bob knocked on the door, as the teacher beckoned her in the class went silent out of curiosity. "could park jimin come to the office please?" she said with a small smile. jimin was unsure as to why he was called down, had his father called? did he forget his lunch? no. he specifically remembered picking it up off of their cook.

he arrived outside the office, he knocked and walked in warily, a middle aged man stood up and walked towards him "park jimin?" he questioned to which jimin only nodded, at that he broke out in a smile. "ah, jimin! i'm so glad you came-" he cut himself off and gave a dead serious face he then gave a dead stare before breaking out in the same smile as earlier. "aha! i'm just kidding!" he chuckled giving jimin a playful slap on the arm, jimin forced the tiniest smile (even then it probably looked fake) the man turned around, grabbing a small booklet from behind him. "okay so it's just a tiny thing but have you ever heard of ECA's?"

jimin nodded, remembering over hearing a few people talking about them. the man smiled again, it was beginning to annoy jimin. "okay, so i called you here because you actually haven't picked one yet and it is required"

jimin nodded along, now interested in what he had to say. "so you can pick from soccer, golf or archery. the man looked at jimin expectantly, he wanted him to make a decision now? it was such short notice.. the man must have sensed jimins hesitation as he continued "jimin, you've attended this school for almost a month its best if you just pick now" jimin thought back to something his father said once.

"golf builds a man, you'll use it later in life son"

he had said this not to jimin but to jimins older brother, jimin was only 10 at the time but remembered it anyway.

"golf, i'll take golf"
