Welcome to the world where everyone judges everyone.

They call us The Brokens.

Why? Well, because we were broken.

Broken beyond fixable. We can't be fixed.

It doesn't hurt us, we knew we were broken.

And by 'us', I mean, AJ, Shane, Noah, Violet, Lydia, Nash, Corbyn and I.

That was our little 'group'. We were the outcasts, the brokens.

AJ is my brother, he's four years older than me, and Noah is two years younger. I'm seventeen. They were the only family I have left. Our parents left us. AJ got into too much trouble for them to handle. They were only going to leave AJ and take Noah and I, but we chose to stay with AJ. We were closer with him after all.

Corbyn is my 'boyfriend'. He was the closest thing I had to a lover.

Violet is my best friend, and she has been since we were three.

Shane is a close friend of mine, but he's closer to AJ. I see him almost everyday.

"Alexandria," AJ said, breaking me from my thoughts. I look over at him. I hated when he used my full name.

"Yes?"

"Your boyfriends here," He said, unlocking his phone and walking out of the room. I get up from the couch I was laying on. I make my way out of the living room and see Corbyn talking to Noah. Once he saw me, he smiled at my brother before walking over to me.

"Hey," he says and kisses my cheek.

"Hey," I say back, slightly smiling. It was rare I ever did smile. I wasn't a smiley person.

He brought his lips to my ear. "You need to smile more," he whispered. I sighed and he pulled back, looking at me. I put on a big, fake smile and of course it caused him to smile back, except his was real.

"Theres that smile I love so much," he said, kissing the corner of my mouth.

By now, Noah has left, probably going to his girlfriends house, he never gets to see her anymore. He was young, but he was in love.

I wouldn't say I was in love with Corbyn, because I'm not. I don't know what love is and I don't want to know. It's pretty obvious Corbyn was in love with me, he believed in love.

"He'll have to stay overnight, I put him on medication so he's in less pain. Don't worry, he'll be fine," I smile at the woman in front of me who had tears in her eyes. She sighed in relief and smiled, nodding her head.

"Thank you so much," she said before smiling down at her dog. She closed her eyes and turned around, walking away. I look down at the sleeping animal, kneeling down beside him. I gently pet him.

"You're gonna be just fine," I whisper.

I stand back up, hearing the door open again.

"Hey," I turn around and see Corbyn.

"Hi," I say and start to put things away.

"Awh, what happened to it?" I look over and see him looking at the dog.

"He got hit by a car, he'll be fine though,"

"I want to get a dog," I hear Corbyn say.

"Whats stopping you?" I ask and turn my attention to him, leaning against the counter and crossing my arms over my chest.

"My parents. They say animals are useless," he says and I nod.

"Oh,"

He makes his way over to me. He puts his hands on my waist. "You look stressed," he mumbles.

"No, just tired. I can't sleep very well, nightmares," I say and rub my eyes. He grabs my hands and kisses them.

"I'm sorry,"

"It's okay, it's not like you can do anything about it," I say and look up at him.

"I wish I could. Do you have nightmares even when I stay over?" He asks.

"Yeah,"

"How come you don't wake me up?"

"I don't want to bother you. Plus, you're always tired." I say and lean my head on his chest.

"I'd stay awake for you," he says and I feel myself start to smile. He pulls away and I look down, letting my smile fade. He lifts my head up and presses his lips to mine. "I love you,"

"Thanks,"
