*Louis's P.O.V* ( & just for the record always will be unless I say so)

Does waking up to the smell of pancakes bother anybody? Cause it sure doesn't bother me.

Groggily walking to the kitchen, my eyes catch a handsome shirtless man in my kitchen.

"Morning" his raspy voice mumbled.

"What's this?" Walking over towards him, I jump to sit on the counter beside him.

"My thank you for letting me stay," he blushed.

If you would've told me two weeks ago that a fit dude with muscles, tattoos, and piercings would be allowing me to cuddle with him and make breakfast for me, I would've laughed.

But here I was.

Harry gave me two pancakes, and I gingerly walk to my small 2-seater kitchen table to inhale the delicious food.

He sat down across from me and slowly ate his food. I hadn't realized I was staring at him until I heard him speak up,

"Lou, dig in"

Quickly looking down at my pancakes, I felt a rush of heat flood my face. I took one bite of the pancakes, and I thought then that I was in sweet heaven. Nothing, and I mean nothing, will ever be as good as Harry's pancakes.

Besides his lips on yours.

I choked involuntarily on my food at my thoughts.

"Are they that bad?" he frowned.

"No! They taste like heaven in a cup!" I rushed out.

He searched my face for a moment but after finding nothing but the truth he sighed in contempt.

After finishing the pancakes, I fished out clothes for Harry.

"I've got some clothes for you! But don't worry, we'll go shopping for the stuff you actually like soon enough." I informed him.

"No, no, no, you can't do that. Please, you've already done so much for me and I would feel guilty if you did anything more that you didn't have to." He assured me.

"I want to," I genuinely smiled at him.

"I won't let this go," he pointed a finger at me and grabbed the clothes I put out for him.

I'm definitely going to win this. He deserved to have a nice life after all that has happened to the curly haired lad. I decided right then & there that I was going to show him that not all people are going to treat him wrong.

After sight-seeing we decided to go back to Granny's diner for some food.

My palms got sweaty at the thought of what everyone would think of me as soon as walked in with him.

"Are you okay?" Harry noticed my nervousness.

"F-fine." I whispered. He realized what I was nervous about and sighed.

"I can wait outside..." He trailed off.

"No!" I blushed, " you're coming in with me whether you like it or not!"

He smiled at me and it was then I realized his left dimple. And, oh boy, did that just like adorable on him!

We walked in and I could feel all eyes drift on us. Nervously walking to the counter, Lola piped up to ask me,

"Will it be your regular Lou?"

I grinned and nodded my head at her. Turning back towards Harry, I noticed his clenched hands and the curly mop of curls is all I could see, telling me he was trying to not look at the people, and distract himself with his feet. Taking his hand in my own and drawing circles on the back of his hand with my thumb, I gently ask him,

"What would you like to eat?"

"Same as you," he grumbled.

"Make that two Lola," I order her.

Ignoring everyone's judgmental stares at our hands, I put my free hand under his chin to make him look up at me.

Well, sorta because I'm about a head shorter than him.

"Sit down at the booth over there, yeah?"

He obliged my orders to sit down and glares at everyone looking at him.

"Are you going to tell me what's going on here?" Lola raises an eyebrow at me and picks up my credit card on the counter.

"I offered him for a tour yesterday and we agreed to do it today. But I started for a walk late last night and found him on a park bench and took him back to my place and now we're just getting back from sight-seeing." I explained.

She handed me back my credit card and smirked at me.

"I hope he enjoys the Tommo's bum,"

I blushed at her comment and playfully glared at her before heading back to Harry.

Making my way to Harry, I sit down beside him in the booth and look at him.

"I should've stayed outside," he glanced out the window .

"I'm glad you came in though!" I beamed at him.

"Why? All you're getting is bad stares for hanging out with me. You'd be better off leaving me alone."

"Is that what you really want Harry?"

No answer.

"That's what I thought, once Lola gives us our food, we'll go back to our flat to eat and watch the telly, 'right mate?"

He sighed in agreement but still didn't look at me and irritation grew within me.

"Look at me," I pleaded.

He turned around look at his lap while fiddling with his fingers. Putting a hand over his, he gasps at the contact. A small smile spreads throughout his face and I unknowingly start to smile too.

"As much as I'd hate to interrupt this adorable moment I have to say your food is ready," Lola squeaks out and smiles.

"Thanks," I grin back and wink at her ash she giggles and walks away.

I felt Harry's hand slip out of mine and I frown at the lost of contact but decide not to question it. Grabbing the food we make our way to our flat and an awkward silence engulfs us.

"So, uhm, Harry," I nervously glance at him. The only response that was given to me was a hum.

"So I have to go back to work tomorrow and I was just wanted to let you know there's food in the fridge and if you need anything then just text me, okay?"

Wow Louis, is that your best in the attempt to make a awkward silence to go away?

"How did I get so lucky?" he mumbled to himself but I pretend not to hear it.

"No offence Lou, but I want to get my own flat soon, so I can't live with you forever." He tells me.

"So soon?! Come on, I can handle for both of us!" My sudden attachment to the boy says how bad I needed a friend.

"At least let me help with the bills or something," he whines

"Sorry if I sounded a bit clingy, I just haven't had a friend in a while," I sadly admit.

"Its alright, I've never had someone I could call a friend in the first place," he winced.

My heart ached at that moment and I frowned at him.

"I can help you out with that," I declare grinning up at him.
