MELODY POV
As soon as we got to my new home, I was astonished. This house was huge. It had a balcony, in ground pool, a big patio. I mean it was a life worth living, I couldn't believe my mom could afford this. As I stepped inside the house, I was afraid I was gonna break the whole this thing with one step.
"Melody," I heard my mom call, "Do you like your new house?" she said with hesitation.
"Like it?" I replied, " Mom, I love it. I can't believe this is reality," I said pinching myself with excitement.
As my mom and I walked out of the house to get out stuff for tonights sleep. A house a couple houses down, on our side of the street was throwing a big party. My mom looked at me, as I looked at her. We stared at each other until we that we were correct.
"DONT STOP BELIEVING!" We screamed at the top of our lungs, in our new drive way, to our new house.
As we laughed, my mom pulled me into a hug. It kinda felt weird, i mean she doesn't do much hugging. I don't know if she just feels bad for the divorce but it's definitely not like her.
I went into the house picked out the secound biggest room with two balconies. One that over looks the pool and the other one overlooking the driveway. Three days from now, I go to my new school. I am very exited, but I aslo am kinda scared. When I meet new people I tend to talk to much.
"Mom, I am going to bed. Love you!" I yell down stairs.
With that I go through my bad get out my face wash and a towel. I go to the bathroom put my long hair in a messy bun and begin the wash my face. After that I change into a sports bra and some sport shorts. With that I lay down and go to bed.
