2) Write a poem using three of the following words: expensive, lampshade, bruise, convincing.
Father
You don't know what happens late at night,
Beneath my seemingly-convincing lies,
His ogre hands enclosing my throat,
Before I know it, I begin to choke,Next day,
There's a bruise wrapped around my neck,
You question my expensive diamond and pearls,
covering my agonizing world,
But I give a seemingly-convincing lie,
And you nod, wondering if I might die,Secretly you know,
You know of my pleads,
My pleads asking him to leave,
Leave me as I weep,
Tonight I decide to say, the lampshade casting shadows on my face,
A question burning on my tongue,My heart begins to race,
When I ask him to leave for good,
He grips my face,
Rips off my lace,And takes away my grace.
