Heart Attack
Craig adjusted the backpack strap on his shoulder as he walked silently to school. His mind wandering to other things as his feet shuffled against the concrete sidewalk. They had a history test today and, although Craig might not seem like he cared for his grades, he was still hoping for a C. Hell, even a D would work for him! He didn’t forget to study, he just had a slight issue of remembering certain information that included school work. The sound of a familiar voice rang through his ears causing him to turn around and see a figure in the distance running towards him. “Craig, wait up!” The blonde haired boy yelled as he rushed up by his side. That's Tweek, Craig’s coffee addicted yet kind hearted best friend and current crush, he's well known around for his family’s business in town also for his jittery and slightly easy stressed out personality. Craig looks over at him as he allowed himself to build that wall of insecurity and anti-social abilities. At school around the other students, Craig was considered rude and intimidating who could easily tell someone to 'fuck off' in one swift finger movement, but when he was with Tweek he wasn’t himself. It was off for him and sometimes he felt like he was gonna rip his hair out from all the strange feelings he gave him just by saying one word. He tried figuring up on it and apparently according to every thing he read and heard he was 'in love', but he refused to believe it. He refused to allow himself to break down his wall just so he could become all lovey dovey with his best friend. Plus he didn’t believe true love existed.
Craig was knocked from his thoughts when he suddenly ran into something big and hard followed by a thunk! Sound. “Oh my God, C-craig! A-are you okay?!” Tweek asked him concerned. He towered over him as he laid there on the ground holding his head. “I-I tried to warn you, but you were spaced out!” Craig rubbed his head as he quietly hissed in pain and looked up to see he had run into a pole like an idiot. “I’m fine, Tweek. But thanks for caring.” He climbed to his feet and picked his backpack up, a big red bump on his forehead allowing everyone to wonder what happened on his way to school. ‘They should have a rule against thinking while walking.’ He thought before continuing with Tweek by his side.

~At School~
Craig watched quietly from his locker at Tweek, whom was at the other end of the hallway talking to the other guys and even some of the girls. It made him feel hurt inside for some reason. He hated this, he wasn’t used to this feeling. He had never been in any relationships in the past, but he was always told that they were painful. At least, that’s what Butters told him and he made some pretty good points to. After all he had noticed the way Wendy treated Stan before, he wasn’t too sure how he felt about that. But Wendy was a girl, perhaps it would be different? No, he couldn’t. He turned his head away from the group as they made their way down the hall. Craig sighed and shut his locker back before heading off to his class. Besides he didn’t feel like he was good enough for Tweek, he felt that maybe he'd be better off with someone who wasn’t as dull and emotionless as he was. Perhaps someone who would be willing to talk about his feelings and is able to ask for help, when they felt like they was in trouble. He wasn’t sure if he even liked him that way.
He gripped the strap of his backpack as he walked into the classroom and sat down in the back of the room where he could look out the window. He sighed softly and crossed his arms while leaning back in his chair while the teacher walked in and began the lesson. He could feel his eyelids growing heavy as he continued to watch the wind outside the window gently blow the tree. Slowly, his eyes shut and he was swept away into dream land.

Craig jumped awake to the sound of the bell ringing signaling for them to move on. He groaned softly as he wiped his hand over his face as an attempt to wipe the sleepy look from his face and got up from his seat. He reached down and picked up his backpack unaware that it was hung and, with a slightly rough tug, it made the zipper come undone and allowed all the contents in his bag to fall into classroom floor. Craig cursed at himself watching all the other students leave the room. He rolled his eyes and knelt down, beginning to pick up the books and stuff. Hard to believe with such shitty luck things like this would always happen to him.
Craig reached over and was about to pick his notebook that held what few notes he wrote down for school work, but saw a pair of feet walk over stopping just beside it. Craig paused, not wanting to look up, while whoever it was bent down and picked up with their pale hand and held it out to him. Slowly, his blue eyes trailed up to look the figure in the face reaching out to take the notebook from him. “H-hey Craig!” That stutter. The one that Craig always found cute. He looked at him, emotionless blue eyes meeting happy and twitchy green ones. He stood up and happily took the book from him. “Uh, yeah thanks Tweek.” He mumbled as he rubbed the back of his neck. Tweek tilted his head at the raven haired boy and raised an eyebrow. “C-Craig? Are you okay? Y-you seem nervous.” He stuttered out. “I’m fine I just…have to get to class is all.” Craig was about to walk past him, but was stopped by a hand being placed on his shoulder. “Y-you know you can always t-talk to me!” Tweek said with a small smile. Those words just made him want to spill everything he felt, but he didn’t. Instead it was like he was frozen there the sound he could hear was the soft beating of his heart that seemed to get louder. It pounded in his chest and he’d sworn he was having a heart attack if he knew he wasn’t still here and breathing just fine.
Craig turned and looked at the blonde haired boy before him and nodded slowly. “Um, actually I was hoping that maybe I could talk with you.” Tweek stood there and pulled his hand back from Craig's shoulder while he fidgeted with his fingers waiting for him to speak. “Tweek I…” He sighed a little not really sure how to say this. He wasn’t one to voice his feelings and thoughts. “I’m sorry I just…” As Craig was about to turn and walk away, he felt something soft against his lips. He couldn’t believe the scene that was playing out before him. Tweek, his crush since 4th grade, was kissing him. He shut his eyes enjoying the moment and allowing the backpack and books to fall from his hands. Tweek's soft lips molded against his, the light bitter taste of coffee lingered, but he didn’t care. He could feel fireworks in his stomach and it was like everything was gonna be okay. Nothing could ruin this moment for him. Until, they had to pull away to breathe.
Craig stood there in awe, his mouth slightly agape and a bright and visible blush crossed his face. Tweek chuckled a little, “S-sorry.” He stuttered. “Y-you looked frustrated s-so I thought maybe if I…” he trailed off his sentence and lightly bit his lip as he glanced at the floor. “I-I've liked you for a while now and I was too scared to tell you.” Craig said with a quiet voice. Tweek smiled and hugged his torso. “Awe, r-really? I l-like you too!” Craig was taken back, could it be that he had over estimated the idea of being a gay couple around everyone else? Possibly, but it didn’t matter. “Wanna hang out at my house after school?” Craig asked him with hope filling his eyes. Tweek simply nodded, “I-I’d like that.” With that being said, Craig took Tweek's soft pale hand into his after picking up his things and they both headed out into the hallways of South Park High. I know what you’re thinking, yes people stared and some even whispered about it, but Craig and Tweek paid no mind to their opinions. They loved each other and that’s all that mattered.
