Ch.5 Incoming Call

    Y/n's POV

  I don't know if it's selfish of me but I was actually pretty jealous of what Aphmau and Garroth had. I mean it almost seemed picture perfect. A newly married couple fresh back from their honey money ready to take on the world together. It's just a longing of mine, not what they had to a T, but someone that takes on the world with you that has your type of "adventures", it just sounded so perfect.

  Maybe, if what Aphmau said earlier today was true, Aaron and I could become a couple and end up together. 

 What the hell am I thinking that's a long screech. I mean we're not even talking, but he might be interested in me. I mean let's think about this, I feel like we have been pretty close throughout the years. These past couple of weeks have probably been some of the best with him too! We have been hanging out really often and and..... I just makes since! Right?

  My lovely overthinking was ironically interrupted by an incoming Facetime call. I turned my phone over to see Aaron's contact name light up my screen. 'I figured he would be asleep. I mean we had a pretty exhausting day moving people in and Kacie came back from his place about 4 hours ago which was like 8ish?'

 I quickly answered deciding it had rang for to long already. My phones screen displayed a tired looking Aaron in his dark room.  "You look like you should be dead asleep right about now." I joked rolling over on my side.

 He let out a raspy laugh. 'It sounds like he was just woken up? Did something bad happen why would he be calling me?' "Well I was up thinking.." He spoke seriously. 'This kinda seems weird. Why is he still up? What was he thinking about that made him call me?' 

 "Y/n?" He pulled me easily out of my thoughts. "I know this is a bad time to be talking saying it is so late, and this conversation would be so much better in person- Actually lets just have this conversation in person tomorrow! Yeah, sorry for bugg-" "Aaron!" I stopped his rambling. I let out a weird shaky laugh. "Why did you call me?" I questioned him.

 "I just couldn't wait till morning to ask you I thought I was gonna go insane before morning." I opened my mouth to attempt to stop his rambling again but- "Please let me ramble. I swear it's helping and it will help me with the conversation." He asked. I nodded my head letting him continue.

"Y/n, for awhile I've had these complicated feelings about you. Not bad ones! I just- Listen I really like you." My breath got caught. "I really would like to go out with you and see where we go after. Like figuratively, together or apart I mean I-" I cut off his sentence. "Aaron, are you trying to ask me out?" I giggled a bit. "Yes." He magically got a boost of confidence. "Well I would love to go out with you. When the date?" I asked feeling myself get super excited. I mean this guy I've been obsessing over just asked me out. 

  I saw him practically jump out of his bed, he reminded me of a highschooler while he was running around to me agreeing to go out with him. "Uh I'll pick you up tomorrow 5 o'clock?" He asked after he calmed down. "It's a date." I confirmed grinning like and idiot. "Perfect uh you don't worry about fancy stuff this will just be a casual type of thing." He explained. "Alright Aaron I'll see you tomorrow then." I held myself up with my elbow. "Okay perfect! Night Y/n I'll see you tomorrow!" He exclaimed. I let out light laugh. "Goodnight Aaron." I smiled softly, he returned my gestured. Then I waved him good night before hanging up.

 I rolled back onto my back super thrilled and so happy! This was exciting! It's happening the thing that I wanted to happen was happening.

    Starting of my day to Aaron and I's first day was a bit short. I woke up at 11 in the morning. "Okay we have time just relax until it's time to get ready. " I spoke aloud. I threw myself out of bed and made my way down stairs. I found Kacie surrounded by papers on our table.

 "There's left over breakfast on the counter if you want some." Kacie pipped up from her chair. "Where did you get it from?" I proceeded to pour my beverage. "Laurance ran some over here from Luis's store this morning." She stated not looking up when I sat down across from her. "Isn't that your favorite pizza place." I teased this caught her attention. "It was just a lucky guess on his part." She defended. "Really cause everyone that listens to you knows that it's your favorite place for pizza in town." I stated my facts. She looked me square in the face. "I don't know what your implying but change the subject."

 I know she's lying and just doesn't want to talk about that conversation yet, so I let this one slide. "What did Aaron want?" I took a bite out of my food. "Oh he was wondering about resort prices for in the next summer or too." She was currently working at a weird vacation planning company, she always said it was for temporary until she finds a good job she really wants.

 "Hmm odd. Well I have a date with him today in about 6 hours so you'll be by yourself tonight." I informed. She stopped all her work. I couldn't hold my smile back. "You have a date with him?!" She stood up getting excited with me. I nodded my head confirming it. 

 "Oh my Irene you lucky little person!" She wasn't even speaking properly. "When did he ask you?" "Last night." I was jumping up and down at this point. Needless to say I think Kacie was happy for me. 'Now I hope it goes well and we end up together forever.

  Sorry it's short. I'm tired and I wanted to get something up. So here yay! Happy whatever I'll get your and Aarons date published soon.
