The time seemed to stand still at the small train station. Only water drops could be heard from the far of distance. The sound echoed across the small train station.
Mother and fathers cabinet wasn't far away from here, only a mile or so. It wasn't very fancy either but it was the only place I could have some peace and quiet. It wasn't all glamour but it was the only place where I could finish reading my books, while laying on the veranda and hearing the rain hit the wooden roof tops .Or smell the new cut grass from Mr Bing's garden. But like everything in life it had to end, summer was over and my only time left of freedom before I get shipped off to marry a noble lady.
The small light from the lobby window shined . Giving of a warm and welcoming light. I looked down at my new shoes. The small amount of light made them shimmer like diamonds.
The water stopped, a minute went by and silence.
Only the small whispers from the big clock in the middle of the train station could be hard now. And if so time seemed to be still on the small train station.
BAM! a loud bang could be heard. My eyes flew to the center of the sound.
A red headed young maden flew out of the lobby door and closed it with a bang.
" Argh ! stupid old man. I only wanted a bloody ticket for god sake. And he did this i cant believe men sometimes" her voice echoed " I mean I am just a cute and innocent young lady that wants a bloody ride home" She directed her screaming voce directly to the green wooden doors standing right in front of her. And I bet the man could hear her quite clearly.
I took a clearer look at the red headed female that flew out of the door just some seconds ago. And now just standing some meters away from me.
She was quite agrable. Her crazy red hair was falling out of her so called before updo that it has once been in, but now looked more like a birds nest.
She turned her head fastly into my direction. She seemed to look for something when her eyes meet mine.
The way she looked at me , it made my heart stop beating for a while. She had a special glimmer in her ocean blue eyes. They were filled with curiosity and wonder like a small child on christmas eve.
She started to walk towards me. Shook and curiones flew over me like a cold fall breese.
I felt the blood rush to my cheeks and feeling myself staring at the girl walking my way.
I watched every move she made. How her crazy red hair bounced up and down. The se stopped.
" um excuse me sir ! Do you maybe have another spare ticket i could buy of you?"
She continued walking slowly forward and hesitantly sitting down beside me on my left side.
" I .. I " i paused, " I don't think so but I can check . " I started searching in my small duffle bag beside me. And if so i did have another ticket. I took out the small paper piece, I could swear to god that I only bought one ticket. I handed out the small printed piece of paper " here you go "
She looked quite shocked to have the small ticket in her hand. Amot like someone knocked out her cup of fresh milk in the morning.
" um thank you sir , you wouldn't mind if i made you company on your way would you now? "
I snapped my head in her direction, and if so she was totally serious. Taken back by the sudden question it was quite of a while , till I finally open my mouth.
" Um sir , I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable but I just thought that you seem to be traveling alone. So I thought that maybe you might enjoy some extra company. " She gave out a weak simile revealing perfectly straight white teeth shining brightly in the warm light.
