~??? POV~

Today is the day I finally get out. That was the only thing on my mind. I had to come up with a plan to get out of this wretched place. Once I get out, I had to kill her. The one who has caused me so much pain for the last 18 years. I will get my revenge...~suspenseful music, cue in Thorne to start making evil faces while the Rampion Crew laughs~

~Cinder POV~

Light flooded into my room as I rolled over to see Kai's brown eyes staring at me. Just looking at him made my heart flutter. It was hard to believe that only less than a month ago, that I had fought and killed Levana. Just the thought of her gave me goosebumps, making me subconsciously rub my arms.

"Good morning, sleepy head," Kai whispered, snapping me out of my thoughts. Responding with a good morning and sliding out of bed, I went over to my vintage dresser and grabbed my usual attire, my cargo pants, and grey shirt. Looking back at the bed, I see Kai laying there like a lump of potatoes. (A/N He weighs about 20 potatoes if you don't understand, that's ok, it's just an inside joke) Rolling my eyes, I yank the covers off of the bed and threw them to the farthest corner of the room.

"Just five more minutes, please?" Kai murmured, still half asleep.

"We have to go to a meeting with the leaders of Earthen Countries. I would've thought you would be the responsible one," shaking my head in laughter, I pulled him off the bed. After what felt like years of trying to get him to wake up, I stuck my cold metal arm around his neck. Startled, he bolted upright and shot me an evil glare. I clutched my stomach and doubled over in laughter.

"What the stars did you do that for!?" Kai yelled.

"I wouldn't have done that if you woke up. Just get dressed you royal idiot," laughing, I left the room.

"I hate you," I heard Kai grumble under his breath childishly.

"I love you too, Kai," shutting the bedroom door behind me, I nodded at the guard by the door as I left.

Since I had time to waste, I strolled down the New Beijing palace looking out at the city. To think that only a year ago I had no clue I was a princess. I'm engaged to the Emperor for the love of stars. Lost in thought, I didn't hear my port screen ding.

"CINDER!!" Iko came running down the hall, her arms flailing everywhere, "come quick! Something has happened!"

Will Cinder be able to solve this problem?

Or will everything fall apart?
