Chapter 8

~See I was going to end the book with the last chapter but people kept messaging me saying that they wanted me to update and didn't want me to end the book so I said what the hell lets update. Hope ya'll like it.~

(Nariah's POV)

Me and Valerio was sound asleep in our bed and the kids was in their room knocked out. Soon I was woke from my sleep hearing glass break downstairs. I turn to Valerio only to see him still sleep.

'This bastard sleeps through any and every fucking thing'

I start to head downstairs so see what the noise is but not before grabbing my dessert eagle under my bed. When I get downstairs I see my living room window broke and my kitchen light on.

As I walk into the kitchen I see someone looking around in my cabinets as if they were searching for something other than food in a motherfucking kitchen. I soundlessly walk up behind them and put the gun to their head.

"Who are you and why the fuck are you in my house?" I say slowly. They start to turn around but I couldn't see their face because they had on a mask with an arrow symbol on it. They quickly knock the gun out of my hand and starts to punch me. Oh best believe I got my ones in too.

The last punch they threw I quickly duck out the way and hit them with a uppercut.  It was obvious that the person was a guy because of the strength of the hits. He quickly picks me up and tackles me through the glass kitchen table making loud sounds and glass cut into my back. I soon heard crying and look over to see my babies standing there scared for their life not knowing what to do.

"RUN AND GO GET YOUR FATHER...NOW!!!" I screamed watching them run back up the stairs to get their dad.

The guy on top of me hits me a couple more times making me dizzy. He soon gets off of me and heads towards where the kids just left. I quickly regain my energy and attack him from behind buying the kids some time to wake their father. Even though with all this noise going on his ass should've been up.

As me and this guy were fighting I hear Rio's footsteps rushing down the stairs.

"Riah NO!!" He yells out.

Then I feel something sharp pierce my stomach and twist. I lose all my strength and drop to the ground. I try to gasp for air but it feels like nothings coming through my lungs. Everything soon goes black.

'God please protect my family'

(Valerio's POV)

I'm in a deep sleep when my angels wake me up crying saying that their mom was in trouble with someone downstairs, that's when I start hearing the sound of thumps and glass breaking. I run downstairs to see the guy pull out a knife and plunge it into my wife's stomach and twist it. I pull out my gun and shoot him in the head and rush over to Riah.

Blood is everywhere. I'm use to it but not the blood of my loved ones.

"Guys do daddy a favor and go back upstairs in your room until I tell you to come out, hurry." I cover up the scene behind me.

I hurry and call Max and tell him everything that happened. He came over in a matter of a minute and watches after the kids for me while I take Nariah to the hospital. I can barely focus on the road or anything for that fact.

If I lose her I might as well lose everything else.

I soon pull up to the hospital and jump out running with a bloody Nariah in my arms.

"SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP MY WIFE!!! SHES BEEN STABBED" I screamed out.

Doctors and nurses hurried over to me, grabbed Nariah and put her on a stretcher. They took her behind two big doors. I tried to follow but one of the nurses told me that I was going to have to wait in the waiting room.

I started to take my frustration out on the hospital walls. Every object that was in sight I broke. My phone started to ring. I look to see who it is and it says Unknown Caller.

"Ahhhh Valerio I hope my guy didn't make too much of a mess in your home." A dark voice announced.

"Deaton." My breath intakes.

"So you are smarter than it appears, tell your wife I am deeply sorry for all this...well that is of course if she makes it." I hear laughter from the other side of the phone.

"You bastard when I find you, and I will find you, I'm going to kill your family in front of your eyes so you can see their guts all over the ground then after I'm going to give you a slow painful death." I gritted my teeth.

"We'll see Rio." He hangs up the phone.
