Hina's POV

I didn't leave
But it would crowd
I wouldn't leave
But it took my crown
The waves
The wa-a-a-aves

My mother's favorite song. My mother. What does my mother look like? Is her hair long or short?

"When is the last time I saw her?" I asked my reflection on the water surface.
"I bet she's beautiful, but when did I see her?"
"Have I ever seen her?"
I tied the large boulder around my ankle. With all of my strength, I slowly managed to push it into the water little. Suddenly, someone grabbed me and my foot was torn from the rope. I winced because it burned. Something hit me hard on the head and I blacked out.
Did I ever get to look into her beautiful eyes?
"Eomma,"

I woke up lying on cement with a huge migraine. I looked around.

"You're awake," I heard a feminine voice say. She chuckled. Two girls walked out.

"Funny, I guess you don't look as beautiful as you used to," The other one spoke.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Are you in love with him? Do you love him?" One of them asked.

"What?" She kicked me.

"Don't play dumb. Answer us. Tell us why our Taeyong oppa came to your rescue after you put on a show during Sixteen," She demanded.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I asked. She kicked me into the wall. I stood up.

"Listen, girls. Go ahead and kill me. Do it. Go right ahead," I said.

"Taeyong loves me," The one girl said.
"He still does,"

"Let's see if he really cares about you," She said as she pulled out a phone. She called someone. I heard Taeyong's voice.

"Chaeyeon, I told you not to call me again," He said. I rolled my eyes. This must be the Chaeyeon that he used to hang out with.

"I'd rethink that, love. I've got your precious love with me right now," She smirked as she said that into the phone. The other girl pinned me against the wall.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," He said.

"You don't? Let me refresh you," She said. She motioned to the other girl.
She kneed me in the gut. I grunted, holding it in. She yanked my hair back. I screamed.

"Hina?" Taeyong asked. The girl threw me onto the ground.

"Where are you?" He asked.

"Why should I tell you? You know, she was asking us to kill her. Maybe I should grant her wish," Chaeyeon said.

"I got your location. Get ready for the cops," He said as he hung up. I felt my eyes water up. Why can't I just die? Right now I just want him to come as soon as possible. Why? Why? Why?

"Shit, our guns aren't loaded," Chaeyeon said.
Now where in the hell did these chicks get guns?

"OPEN UP," I heard a male voice shout. The other girl grabbed me and held me to the wall, holding a knife to my throat. I sighed. The door broke open and police officers were standing there, armed with guns. Taeyong was there with a smirk on his face.

"Don't come any closer," The girl holding me ordered.
Just kill me.

"Don't touch her," Taeyong ordered. The girl holding me pushed the tip of the blade against my shoulder. I held my breath.

"Don't come any closer," The girl said again. The policemen stepped into the room. I felt the blade dig slowly into my shoulder, causing me to gasp.

"PUT THE WEAPON DOWN!" One of the men shouted. The cocked their guns. She dropped the knife. One of the men fired a bullet at her which she dodged. With me. She spun around and pushed me into the way. I felt a stinging pain in my shoulder as I dropped.

"HINA!" Taeyong shouted. The man fired another bullet which hit the girl, allowing them to run over and capture her. Taeyong ran over to me. He dropped onto his knees and held me.
Why couldn't they have aimed for my damn head?
