if the username you like is taken you could add an underscore, dot or dash

or you could replace letter with another letter, the best ones to use are:
x , c , q , v
or you could double up on a letter and use, for example, two is (ii) instead of one (i)
if the username you like begins with an i, you could change it to an l to give it the effect of a capital letter. this looks especially good on instagram
finally, you can add an s to the end of the name
e.g. i wanted my @ to be valkyrie but that was taken, so i made it vqlkyrie, i could've also done this by making it -valkyrie , et cetera
