Chapter 2

Yoshiki's prov

I walked over to the new girls desk "I guess we're partners" I said. Yuki looked up at me and nodded "what topic do you want to do?" I asked. "I don't mind" she said softly. I nodded and looked up at the board. "What about a country?" I suggested. "Sure" she said and pulled her phone out.

We decided on England and researched about their royal family and about big ben. "Ok class, you'll have to continue these at home. You have until next Thursday to finish and then present your presentations" Miss Yui said when the bell rang. "What do we have now?" Yuki asked.

"Swimming class!" Mayu grinned. Great I thought. I grabbed my bag and followed my friends down to the locker rooms where we changed into our swim stuff. "Are you excited to be working with Nakashima for your project?" I smirked at Satoshi. A light blush formed on Satoshi's face making me and Ryo laugh. "Sh-shut up!" Satoshi stuttered and left the room In a huff.

"Alright class! I want two laps round the pool!" Our swim teacher ordered. Two laps?!?! I thought. This wasn't going to go well. I climbed into the pool and watched everyone else start their laps, while I just stood there. I watched Yuki as she swam quickly to the opposite side of the pool to me. "Kishinuma! Get swimming!" Mr Shimizu called. I groaned and started paddling.

By the time I had gotten to the deep end I was in the middle of the pool with no walls to hold onto. "Shit!" I said as I started sinking, my swimming tacit not being able to keep me above water. The others, who had finished by now, saw me struggling. "Kishinuma!" Ayumi called but by now I couldn't reply because my mouth was under water. I was almost submerged when I felt someone next to me and help me float.

Yuki grabbed me under my arms and hoisted me back up. "Thanks" I choked as I was able to breath again. She smiled and helped me over to the wall where I was able to climb out of that godforsaken pool. "Kishinuma! You're so stupid!" Ayumi hit my arm. "Thanks, I'm fine by the way!" I said sarcastically. Ayumi was about to argue back when the teacher interrupted "are you ok kishinuma?" He asked.

"Yeah, no thanks to you" I said. I hated this lesson and I hated the teacher even more. I got up and grabbed my towel before going to the changing room to shower and get dressed.
