A few days later...

For the first time in a long while, I finally felt like everything was coming together.

I didn't know this guy from Adam, but he was willing to give me a shot, and I don't know how I could ever thank him for this. If it wasn't for him, I'd still be job hunting my ass off right now.

Tonight was my first shift at Taylor's club and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. I could never see myself working in a club, but I'm willing to give anything a try.

I just hope I do a good job...

I had a shower, got dressed, did my hair and makeup and I was ready.

"Okay, I can do this.."

There was nothing specific I had to wear, he just told me dress casually, but nicely.. So after searching though my wardrobe I opted for a simple red tank top, a pair of black leather pants and a pair of rocker heels.
I felt sexy, confident and ready for anything the night wanted to throw at me.

"This'll be a piece of cake!"

When I arrived, the place wasn't overly crowded.

Yet.

I caught sight of Taylor standing by the bar, so I went over to see him.

"You're early." He said, smiling at me.

"What can I say.. I'm a punctual person."

"Good to know." He chuckled. "I hope you're ready for tonight."

I took a deep breath. I was nervous as hell right now. I think he could sense it because he placed his hand on top of mine. "You'll do great. I have faith in you." He said, smiling sweetly at me. His touch sent a jolt of electricity through me. The shock of it made me pull my hand away. He chuckled softly.

"It's okay if you're nervous. I would be too if I was in your shoes."

"I'm not nervous, thank you very much."

"Could've fooled me." He whispered.

We both chuckled. "C'mon, I'll show you round. "Sarah.. Can you mind the bar for a few minutes?"

"Sure thing, big boy." She said, giving him a flirty wink.

"Don't mind her.." he said, "she's like that with everyone." He called out to her.

"I heard that.. And you love it, Taylor." She called back. He chuckled as we walked away.

After about 20 minutes, he'd finished showing me around the place and where everything was.

"That about covers it. Is there anything you want to know?"

"No. I think I got."

"Good. Now get to work." He said.

"Yes boss.", I said, saluting at him like I was in the army... why did I do that? It made him laugh though. And made my checks flush a shade of red.
