I was now in 7th period listening to Mr. Kasey teach the math lesson. I put my head down and soon I dozed off. "Daija. Daija get up you are being checked out "I heard Mr.Kasey say. I lift my head up and got up. Who's checking me out of school? We don't have a vehicle so how am I getting checked out. I walked to the front office and seen a female that was about 5'5 with a little baby on her hip. When she seen me her face lit up in excitement. "Daija right ?" She asked. "Yeah "I responded. "Oh my gosh you're my little sister. I'm Sky, Warren oldest daughter "She smiled. "Oh um are you sure "I say looking confused. This can't be I'm the only child. "Yes come on "She say while pulling me. We soon made it out to the school parking lot. We was just about to get in the car until my mother jumped out a taxi. "You hard headed little Fucker I told you not to come up here! "She yelled while getting in Sky face. "Hold my baby "She say while handing me the little girl that was on her hip. Sky punched my mother in the face and after that all I seen was tracks and wigs flying everywhere. I sat the baby down in the car and broke up the fight. "Let my hair go you dumb bitch! "Sky yelled while kicking my mama in the face. She let her hair go and they both looked a hot mess. My mother deserved everything that happens to her because she treats me like dirt. "Let's go! "She yelled while dragging me back to the taxi with her. "Ma stop! Let me go! "I screamed. I watched as Sky scrapped her baby in the car and sped out of the school parking lot. Then we left. My mother turned around and looked at me with hatred in her eyes. "You let that little tramp hit me! huh! "she yelled while slapping me. She then started hitting me upside my head and in my face ."Ma'am you have to sit down or get out "the taxi man said. "You shut up and drive! "She yelled at him. "She yelled. She walked down the hall and I followed her. She was ripping my clothes and throwing them. "Stop! "I yelled. She took some lighter fluid and poured it all over my clothes. She went searching for a match. That gave me time to grab some clothes. She then throwed the mirror and a glass ornament at me and it broke on my back. I can feel the cuts stinging. "You ain't buy nothing in here! So stop touching it! "She yelled. She threw me on the bed and started ripping my clothes off and my shoes until I was officially naked. "What are you doing "I cried. "Get out! "She yelled. "Get out? Get out where "I cried. "Out my house little bitch. "She said. "But I don't have no where to go "I cried. "That ain't my problem "she say. "Can I at least get some clothes? "I asked. "Get the fuck out! you didn't buy them clothes or shoes did you? You damn right you didn't. Get out before I set your ass on fire! "She yelled. I walked out the house. She slam the door soon as I was on the second step. "You ain't shit just like yo daddy that's why he dead now! "I heard her yell out the window. I started crying harder. Here I am 17 year's old no job, no house, no family, no cell phone, and I'm out here naked around nothing but crack heads and drug boys. I walked down the sidewalk holding my breast and stomach.
