Around ten thirty at night, Tristan entered the hospital again, wearing different clothing this time. He was dressed casually, wearing a plain v neck tee shirt with a blue jacket with fur on the inside, it was a bit more on the heavy side. His legs were dressed in dark jeans as his footwear consisted of black Vans and socks. He kept his badge with him, in case he would need it for anything.

He signed in, signed some papers regarding him being Isabella's new guardian, paid the financial things for the hospital service, and then sat in a pale green seat in the waiting room, waiting for a doctor to see him.

Soon a doctor approached him, causing Tristan to stand up to him. "Mr. Lakes?" He nodded. "Nice to meet you." A firm handshake. "I'm doctor Philips, I am Isabella's doctor. Follow me please."

They began to walk to Isabella's room together as Philips spoke. "So after running some tests, we discovered a concussion. After a physical exam, we found she had some bruises and cuts, but nothing serious. It couldn't have been accidental."

"So, kind of like she was beaten?" "Possibly. She's been in and out of sleep today, one of the side effects of a concussion. She also might be having issues with a lot of things later on, such as nausea, vomiting, balance problems, constantly feeling weak or tired, etcetera. There are lots of side effects that can occur. I recommend she is kept in a calm, peaceful, and safe environment where she won't have to think or do much physical activity. It's important her head rests as much as possible for quicker healing. It could take hours, days, weeks.."

They reached the outside of her door. They stopped in front of it as doctor Philips continued. "It seems she's already taken on the side effect of excessive sleeping, which is okay. Just keep a close eye on her. She needs to not be alone for her first twenty-four hours with you. If she's in pain, I recommend Acetaminophen. Ibuprofen or anything else could worsen her symptoms or not help as much."

He handed Tristan a prescription for it along with the drug, which he stuffed both in his jacket pocket. "Thanks. Anything else I need to know?" "Oh, well her midriff is wrapped in order to help heal her wounds and prevent issues with them later on. Whenever she takes showers, the water shouldn't be too hot or cold, and she should be very careful. For quick healing she should be rewrapped in a new bandage as soon as she's dry. Here they are."

Philips handed a package of giant bandages, like it was a giant wrapped up gauze. "That's it. We gave her a gown we give to patients with no clothes to go home in. She did have clothes, but they were obviously not in good condition. She can keep that. I wish you the best of luck." "Thank you."

They nodded goodbyes before Tristan entered the room.
