Chapter 2

Katniss POV

I awake and just before I attempt suicide again I hear his voice. His as in Peeta Mellark my one true love.

"Katniss?" Peeta whispers.

"Peeta?" I reply. He runs over and hugs me it feels so real.

"Are you real??" I question. Then he tells me about Gale. I growl at the thought of Gale. But Peeta is alive!!!! I hug him and kiss him with all my heart and soul.

"Aww☺️" Annie whispers. Then blushes because we heard her.

"Annie, really?" I say joking around with her. She laughs with such a smile that I have not seen in a long time. It is amazing how much being with Peeta changes you. If I had not fallen in love with this boy who knows how the world would be.

Peeta's POV

SHE STILL LOVES ME!!! Then I look at her fully. She has a big belly bump.

I ask her, "Are you pregnant?" I know this answer I just want her to tell me herself.

"Yes, Peeta, yes I am." Katniss shouts. I place my hand on her stomach and I feel a kick. Then it finally settles in. I am going to be a father.

"Oh Katniss that is wonderful!" I exclaim. She is 5 months pregnant is what Annie said. Katniss is free to go now. She is mine, she is mine. We leave hand in hand.

We get to our house and immediately start kissing each other. Oh how I love my Katniss. These 4 months are gone fly by.

*4 months later*

Katniss' POV

The joy of holding my baby girl in my is better than any joy I could ever have. Peeta wanted to name her Willow Rue. I thought that was just perfect. Willow has blonde wavy hair and beautiful silver eyes. She looks like a girl Peeta with silver eyes. I'm still at the hospital but I will be let out tomorrow. Peeta never left my side through it all. I lose my train of thought as I hear a baby cry, it is feeding time. Peeta rushes to fix a bottle as I get up to grab Willow.Right as I sit back down Peeta comes over with a bottle. I feed Willow and then lay back down to fall asleep mowing Peeta will burp her. ❤️

Peeta's POV

My sweet girls are still asleep so I start packing. Then I hear Katniss.

"Good morning handsome, need help??" Katniss asks with a smile as bright as the sun.

"Sure baby," I say because she loves when I call her baby. Katniss gets up and sets her in her crib. Then we begin to pack.I pack my clothes, and Katniss packs hers, but we both pack Willow's clothes.

When we get back to our house. I begin to get excited because Katniss designed Willow's nursery and would not let me see it until now. I walk up to the door and open it.

Wow. It has light magenta walls with some of my paintings of flowers and things reprinted on the walls. Then I see it Katniss wrote the first verse of Deep in the Meadow on the wall in the prettiest hand writing I have ever seen. Then right front and center is a picture of Katniss and I in the meadow. Below the picture is one wor that means so much o us, Always.💕
