When I woke up my head was hurting like hell I was in bed and bandaged. That girl really is strong. Can't forget those pillows tho, I still have a urge to sqeeze them but when I left my room my father was looking at me funny. "Evan", he yelled, "you did great my son you showed those rebels that their leader is nothing". I said nothing but look down and he got up and yelled angrily, "You also made a fool of us by nearly getting killed!"
I looked into his eyes and said, "Father, we must change are ways. What this kingdom fights for is wrong. We are over taxing the people, we are excuting the innocent! If we change our ways, the rebels will join us! Can't you see, father, if we are attacked by other kingdoms we're done for!"
He growled and yelled, "You and your mother are the same: stupid. That is why she is dead! I won't change the way of the kingdom! I won't surrender!"
"You would kill your only son if it meant winning??"
He laughed
"Of course I would! You're nothing but a waste of wealth, time, and space!"
After that, I left to search for the rebels with all those that are loyal to me and after a few hours later we we're standing right in front of their base.
