She swayed in harmony with the melody. As perfect as a dancer can get. Gracefully she kicked high in the air as the music came to an end. The kick in the finale had the jaws of EVERYBODY in the room dropped down low, touching the floor. After a moment of pin-drop silence the crowd put their hands together for the performance that had a surplus of spectacular. But there is no applause loud enough, no words descriptive enough to narrate the beauty and grace of the miraculous performer. The miracle named Wendy.
All eyes were on her and she knew. Wendy is a rare kind of person. People knew what she was capable of and she knew too. She was the ‘popular one’. She was the ‘pretty one’. She was the ‘sweet one’ (although never modest). But, she was not perfect. Oh, nowhere close. She got at least 3 F’s last year. Math, Chemistry and Physics.
Back to topic. Sorry, at times I drift away in a boat with only me and my thoughts. All eyes were on her and she knew. She also knew that one person seated in the VIP section was happily browsing on his phone.
Usually a performer would be red in anger to see someone completely ignoring their talent. But Wendy, was curious. He was the first person who had not fallen for her as soon as he laid eyes on her. First person who would do nothing at all to flatter her. First person who thought she was… ordinary.
He was different.
He was Marco.
A.N. Hey guys! Do you like the story? Mary Elizebeth Winstead plays Wendy. She matches perfect doesn't she? You might remember her from Final Destination. She played Wendy in that movie too! LOL.
