【KNJ】Being an owner of a bookstore came with it's positive and negative experiences. From it being so large and having almost all the books students or people in general were looking for made the days longer as the store was always filled.
On the other hand handsome men always seemed to stumble into the store. Mainly looking for comic books, music books, or cooking books. Expect this one guy who came in looking for children's book.
Two weeks ago he entered looking quite tired and as if he ran all the way to the store. His face had a sheer layer of sweat even though it was pretty chilly outside. He wore sneakers, plain ripped jeans, and a shirt with the large letters that spelled out 'PUMA'.
"May I help you" I smiled.
"Ah yes, Where are the children's books?" He quickly answered.
He looked very young to be a dad. I mean he seemed in his twenties- stop over thinking just cause he's handsome doesn't mean you can assume so much.
"Upstairs on the right there's all kinds of them" I pointed towards the spiraled stairs
"Thank you" he smiled
Even his smile was perfect. He just walked into my store and here I am geeking over such mysterious man. He quickly came back to me to purchase the book.
"For your kid" I curiously asked
"No I'm babysitting for a friend" he scratched the back of his neck chuckling.
"Oh sorry it wasn't any of my business-"
"It's fine" he cut me off
"Thanks again." He walked out.
« Monday morning »
The same mysterious man walked into my book store. Still looking great as the last time I saw him, but with a different hair color. I should get his name, and number.
"Hey" he tried to spark a conversation.
"Hi how can I help?" I smiled back
"Do you have any maternity books?" He smiled.
Maternity books.
"First child" I joked.
"Yeah" He smiled so bright the sun was jealous.
And so was I.
