CHAPTER 2

                      HOMECOMING NIGHT
                          8:00 pm
" I was waiting for my bestfriend to come over I was super nervous to Be going to homecoming because this boy that I've had a crush on since freshman year was gonna be there and I had planned on doing something tonight to grab his attention ".

" Knock at the door "
" Heyyyy best ! Omg you look so good ".
" You do too . My brother is almost here we just gotta wait for him then get here ".
"Ok . Are y nervous ? "

"Yes , I'm super nervous idk if I'm gonna do that thing I can't do it what if he rejects me ".

" What makes you think he'll reject you ?. He obviously thinks your cute bro chill if he thought you were ugly he wouldn't like your pictures on Instagram and say hi to you ".

" True but still ."

"Regardless , your doing it idc what you say . If you don't do it you'll be saying later I wish I wish and this is finally your chance to make him pay attention to you ".
" Incoming call brooo"

" He's here lets go ".

At the school
" I'm not that nervous anymore now that I've stepped inside the school but I'm still nervous to see him ". " As we walked in my friends said hi to me telling me I looked so good and blah blah ".

9:00
" I'm starting to think he's not coming until my bestfriend spotted him ".

" there he is ! Come on ( pulling on my sleeve)"
" once I spotted him my heart staring beating a thousand miles I was so scared all these nervous, butterflies in my stomach I'm sweating like crazy because I'm so nervous. My friends were walking up to him and i ran away as fast as I could I couldn't do it I was too nervous."

" I saw them looking around for me and saw he was about to leave . At that moment I sucked it up and slowly walked up to him . I started off slow then started twerking on him I heard him say " Aye over and over again ". As I continued twerking on him I felt something poking and that's how I knew I was doing something right ".  I stopped twerking on him and all my friends were so happy for me hugging me and hyping me up .  I couldn't stop smiling I was suprised myself that I actually twerked on the person I've been crushing on forever . "

" omg I'm so proud of you ! Yessss now he'll pay close attention to you he's gonna be talking about you all of next week . You can't be on hush mode though you have to say hi to him ".

" I know I will ".

- AFTER HOMECOMING, OUTSIDE-
" I was trying to call my mom and ask her where she was because days before homecoming she told us that she would pick us up . I was getting angry because it was cold and I had a dress on and my toes were freezing . While I was calling my mom I saw Armani that boy I've been crushing on for a minute standing outside with this other  boy we had  a moment for a moment if that makes sense ".

" We ended up getting a ride from my friends mom . My bestfriend went home and I was just sitting there in my living room thinking about the night I just had .  My friends Tevonie and destiny were blowing up my phone telling me the reaction he had on his face and how he was smiling and cheesing . I had to say I felt good ."

DAYS AFTER HOMECOMING MONDAY
" Ah here we are again school.... my mind was racing thinking about 2 nights ago . I was going to see Armani after 1st period since we had advisory together. I had to make sure I looked good as always, I looked kind of bummy but still cute at the same time ".

- ADVISORY-
" My teacher was asking the class how homecoming was and if we had fun . I definitely had fun it was a night to remember."

" I saw Armani from across the room we'd exchange looks here and there . You'd think we'd be able to talk to eachother but I'm so damn shy I just freeze up . It makes me sad bc it's like no matter what we never ever talk in person . We've shared small conversations before but that's about it and we have a streak this thing on Snapchat the name of this app this generation uses theses days ",

" Class was over and now it was time to go to 2nd period. But first I wanted to go my locker to go spill all the tea to my friends luiza and April ."

" After I told them what happened at homecoming they reacted the same way the rest of my friends did ".

" I'm glad you finally did it now you guys have something to talk about you should hit him up and say something about it to remind him ".

Nah , I'm good I wanna wait for him to say something to me first . I'm always the one that has to say something."

" Abby !!! You have to say something to him

" Why do i always have to be the one to say something ? its not fair to be honest and it Dosen't help that the both of us are quiet"

" That Shouldn't be an excuse Armani definitely isn't shy he's actually super easy to talk to

" you right but I'm still gonna wait for him to say something to mee !"

" ok said my friends april and Luiza , we'll see each other after class meet at the counselors office ! ".

" ok ! Now bye before I'm late to class cause y'all wanna hassle me about talking to this boy ".
