chapter 005 | the sacrifice. ▬▬▬✧ ▬▬▬
"What are you guys doing here?!" Rose groans as she and Rai enter the tomb and see Damon and Stefan Salvatore with their arms wrapped around the gigantic stone blocking the entrance.
"Well if it isn't twin 1 and twin 2," Damon says while trying to appear casual by leaning against the stone.
"It really takes both of you to move that stone?" Rai asks while suppressing a chuckle.
"It's a heavy rock!" Damon defends while gesturing to the rock.
"I'm sure it is," Rai replies mockingly while walking over to the stone and moving it effortlessly.
"Wonder twins baby!" Rose cheers while high-fiving her twin.
"What are you two doing here?" Stefan asks while pointing between the two of them.
The twins share a quick look before saying, "We just enjoy spending our time in creepy tombs." Rai and Rose look at eachother and narrow their eyes. Rose always called them the wonder twins but she never knew they would come up with the same exact lie.
"Creepy," Damon replied while looking between the two of them. "Now what's the real reason."
"No sense in lying. We're here to help get the moonstone out of this creepy tomb," Rose replies with a fake smile on her face, hoping they believe her lie.
"Please, come on in. There's room for all of us," A hungry looking Katherine Pierce stumbles into the entrance of the tomb.
"Katerina," Rose growls, her veins pulsating against her tan skin. Rose uses her vampire speed to attack the woman but Damon moves and grabs her, barely managing to catch her before she crossed the barrier.
"I wouldn't do that," Damon strains against Rose's brute strength. "Vampires can enter the tomb, but they can't leave."
"I'm going to rip your intestines out of your body through your nose and then feed them to you, you sinister little bitch," Rose hisses at her former best friend. Rose stops struggling and looks back at her brother who is staring at the Bulgarian beauty with a blank stare.
"Hello Rai, it's good to see you again," Katherine flirts while teasingly waving her fingers at him. "You get more handsome every time I see you."
Rose growls and spits out, "Don't you dare talk to him, you ignorant waste of space." She wiggles around until Damon releases his arms from around her. "And I thought I had a way with words," Damon jested and he sucked on his teeth making a smacking sound.
