You walked into your first period, math to see Richie casually sitting down while talking to Stanley, who sits in front of him. Walking up to the teacher, who was sitting at her desk, you smiled, "Uh, hi, I'm (Y/N) and I don't know where to sit, or. . ."

She smiled and picked up a piece of paper off of her desk and pointed to the seat next to. . . Richie. You groaned. "You will be sitting next to Richie Tozier. Richie, raise your hand so she knows where to-"

"I know who he is." You grumbled and threw yourself down on the seat. The teacher clapped her hands and everybody who was talking shut up and faced her, "Hello, everybody, my name is Ms. Sanchez and I will be your math teacher. For today, talk to your table partner about what you did this summer and tell them about yourself."

You looked around to see everybody immediately turning and talking to one another. You turned back to see Richie already looking at you. He turned light pink and rolled his eyes, "So, uh, you have any pets?" He quickly asked.

You giggled and nodded, "One cat; her name is Mews (You guys get it?)." He nodded, "I want a cat, but instead I have a dog. . . Oh well." He sighed and faced the front. Out of nervousness, you quickly tapped his shoulder and he turned to you.

"What do you want, fuckface?" He grumbled and pushed his glasses up. You sighed, "W-why are you so. . . mean to me all the time? I mean I don't do anything to you. . ." Richie opened his mouth to reply but Stanley looked at him and he toughened his stare, "Because you're ugly and rude to me." He pointed his thumb at himself, rolled his eyes, and looked back at the front.

You didn't know for sure, but he was about to say something else, but when Stan looked at him, he said something mean to cover up that he doesn't want  to be rude to me, but didn't want Stan to know. . . Nah. He didn't like you and he liked being rude to you.

You sighed and lay your head down on your desk.

'He'll never like me, he'll never like me, he'll never like me, he'll never. Like. Me.'
