Chapter 9

I just chuckled to myself and neared towards her. I kissed her forehead and slipped off her shoes pulling the blanket over her half naked body. She looked like an angel sleeping her crimson hair spread across the pillow.

I guess she really did have a lot to drink.

I'd feel weird to head back down stairs now and leave her here so I just decided to lay facing her, looking at her beautiful expression I didn't mean to fall asleep but I could feel my eyelids become heavy and my body falling into a deep sleep

There was nothing I could do now. I just hoped she remembered what happened and didn't wallop me one in the morning.

Erza's PoV
The sun beamed through the curtains lighting the whole room and waking me from my slumber
My head hurt like hell, why the hell did I drink so much

I sat up slowly and I started to look around, my room seemed tidy at least, god I'm gonna regret the party when I have to tidy downstairs. Oh god I just hope the bathroom walls haven't been pissed on.

While lost in my thoughts I suddenly cane to the realisation that something was against my leg. Oh good please say I wasn't that drunk, please say it's just a pillow.

I turned my head to the right to see the top of a man's head and a heap under the duvet.

I started to freak out inside, please say I didn't hook up with a stranger oh god please. I could feel the man's legs against mine and his arms loosely around my waist as if he were cuddling me before I decided to sit up.

I took a deep breath in and peeled the cover back to reveal gray. Oh few. Wait ? Gray!? I don't even remember him coming to the party, what on Earth happened surely I'd remember if ..... no I can't jump to conclusions.

"Morning Erza" I heard his rough voice mumble as he snapped me from my thoughts

" um Gray not to be rude but what are you doing in my bed " I didn't want to kick him yet this might of been my fault and he might not of done anything

" well uh ... last night you were very drunk "

" we didn't did we?? "

" what no don't worry we didn't do anything, but uh ..." gray rubbed the back of his neck nervously sitting up and removing his arms from around me

I kinda missed his touch

" spit it out " I said bluntly, I needed to know

" you kissed me and I .. I know you were drunk but I just couldn't help myself and ... please don't hit me "
Gray closed his eyes quickly as if he was preparing himself for me to hit him.

I just giggled, I don't know what came over me I just felt really girly around him

" gray why would I hit you because I kissed you "

" well I uh you were drunk "

" yes I was but alcohol doesn't make me kiss random people "

" what are you trying to say ? " he questioned

" I guess what I'm trying to say is it meant something " I don't know why I said that, he was probably drunk too, he probably thinks I'm ugly and doesn't want to be in this situation, why did I say that ? Why did I say that

Suddenly I felt Gray's lips on mine and so I was indulged into a warm kiss and his gentle embrace

Kissing him like this brought back sudden memories of the night before and the kiss we shared then. If I hadn't fallen asleep I think my drunk self was planning to have sex with him!

I was pulled back when his soft fingers laced through my hair and he deepened the kiss, my eyelids closed gently and I melted into the kiss. This man was doing things I thought no one could, he was breaking through my armour.
