"What is that burning?", Blaire says. "It smells horrible". She blinks her eyes to adjust her vision and she catches something on the ground. She doesn't know what it is or if it's dangerous. She squints to get a closer view. She gaspes as a tear runs down her face as she realizes that it's not a what but a who. As she tries to hold back all of her tears she realizes that she doesnt even truly know exactly who it is. As her ears catch up to her eyes in the process of waking up, she hears someone screaming in the distance. She turns around to see the worst thing she thought she could ever see. Tears that she tried so hard to hold back fell as she whispers "Dad". He looks at her and screams his last words "Run, run til you can't run anymore and NO MATTER WHAT DON'T LOOK BACK", as his eyes close and his voice becomes a distant memory in her mind and heart. Blaire immediately gets up and runs. She has been running for what seems like an hour. Realistically it was probably 30 minutes. As she runs she sees another devastating sight. Her mother's lifeless body being eaten away by the flames. She runs faster. She runs until she eventually falls underneath a sign that says 'Welcome to Pinesville'. Blaire lets out a sign of relief.
