✨Lily's POV✨

I wake up the next morning and brush my teeth. I can NOT stand not brushing my teeth in the morning. When I walk out, Mason's gone and I have a text. From him."Sorry love I had to attend to business please fill out the paper on the desk. Luv u😘"

Me: Whatever😒

Mason: You know you love me😍

Me: Whatever you need to tell yourself

Mason: Don't lie😏

Me: And why would I do that?

Mason: 👅You know you want it. I'll see you later

Me: That was.....disturbing😳

Mason: 😉😉😘But seriously I have to go

Me: Have fun!🎢🎡🎠

We stop our texting and I spot the paper on the table. It says:

Name:

Age:

Birthday:

Favorite Color:

Shoe Size:

Height:

'Okay...' I think to myself as I grab a pen.

Name: Lily Cassandra James

Age: 18

Birthday: December 12

Favorite Color: Blue

Shoe Size: 7

Height: 5'7"

I walk downstairs, paper in hand, and search for Mason. This wouldn't be hard if their house wasn't so freakin' big. Seriously. I walk down the hallway and walk into Mason's "office". 'He's 19, why does he need an office?' I think. I walk in and there's a big mahogany desk with a black chair at the end of the room. In front of the desk, there are three chairs. Behind the desk there's a door. I glide past the desk and put my ear up to the door. I hear a voice that sounds like Mason, screaming.

"YOU SAID THEY WANTED HER! NOW, TELL ME WHERE THEY ARE OR I'M GOING TO CUT EACH OF YOUR FINGERS OFF ONE AT A TIME!" he screams. 'What?!' I think. I tense up when I hear a familiar pop and lock.

"YOU HAVE 5 SECONDS!" Mason screams.

"Please! I don't know where they are, please! I have a pregnant wife and a little boy!" a voice screams pleadingly. 'I can't let Mason shoot this man!' I think.

"5!"

I don't know what to do.

"4!"

I'm so confused!

"3!"

There's only one thing to do.

"2-"

And with that, I burst in the door. I see a room with no windows, concrete walls, and pictures all over the walls. I also see two big men standing on the right of..I guessed right. Mason. Who's holding a loaded gun to the man who was screaming's head. The man is tied to a chair. "Lily?!" Mason shouts,"You shouldn't be in here, lov-"

"Don't you 'love' me! I'm not going to let you shoot an innocent man!"

"Honey, he's not innocent." Mason says deathly calm.

"What could he have possibly done!" I yell at Mason,"Why could he possibly," I'm tearing up now, not just for the guilt factor, but because I'm scared and have no idea what's happening,"done to deserve this?! Why wouldn't you think about him! He has a family! How would you like it if someone shot Poppy, Phoebe, Marcy, and Alastair?!" I'm practically full-on sobbing now. Mason's tearing up, too,"How would you like it if someone shot me?" I say quieter. I did it. Mason dropped the gun and ran over and hugged me. I was sobbing into his chest for a while until he says into my hair.

"Why did this upset you so much?"

"I just was confused and didn't know what was going on. I also didn't want you to shoot him!" I say. I go over to the man and untie his wrists. He rubs them and thanks me. Then came the unexpected part.

I didn't know what was happening. My life flashes before my eyes.

The man came over, punched me straight in the temple and whispered,"Wrong move honey, I'm single." I blacked out before I could fully register the information.
