I lay in bed, thinking over and over again about the kiss, it was so gentle, yet it sent me over the edge. My phone buzzed

Me :

How'd you get my number :\ x

Niall

I have my ways babe ;) x

Me :

Do you flirt like this with everyone?x

Niall:

Who said i was flirting? x

I rolled my eyes at the text, well id show him

Me :

Your right, now if youl excuse me il get back to my date :)x

I smiled feeling proud that I had got him back, around 10 seconds after I'd sent the text my phone started to ring

"Beth? Who's with you?" He said angrily

"Oh nobody just this boy I met"

I grinned

"You better be fucking joking I'm coming round right now" he hung the phone up, oh no he was going to get so mad .

I heard car tyres screech and within seconds Niall was in the door, his face red

" where the fuck is he!" He shouted

" Niall! Calm down I was kidding!" I said frightened, he took a glance round realising nobody was here, he seen my scared face and pulled me into a hug, " I'm sorry for scaring you" he mumbled into my ear, and I'm not sure why, but I didn't want him to let go.

" look il phone you tomorrow or something? I've got some stuff to take care of" he smiled at me, " yeah that's fine" I smiled, he pulled me into another hug, kissing the top of my head, leaving me there in my thoughts.

*NIALL*

I drove down the long street my phone buzzing with texts and missed calls, I picked it up, Harry, a couple of random girls and my mum. I chose to ignore them all. I needed time to clear my head.

I don't know what it was, never once since I moved here had I cared about a girl, not once, I wasn't the kind to get into relationships, I was the one to fuck others up. But Beth, she was different, and I don't know what it was but the thought of someone else with her got me angry, and that's why I needed time to think, what was going on with me?

*BETH*

*next day*

I woke up around 10 with a few texts from Emily

em :

Hey! Where are you? We were worried about you! Call me ASAP!! x

Em:

Beth I've called you like a billion times! Where are you? x

Em:

Okay me and louis looked everywhere! Please call me as soon as you can!x

I phoned her quickly before she actually put my face on a milk carton " hey Beth! Oh my gosh are you okay? Have you been kidnapped!" She shouted down the phone, "woah em in fine honest don't worry!" I said wincing from her shouting, "dude where were you? Me and louis looked everywhere for you! Even Harry was looking" she said, " erm well it's a long story" I began. " okay look sleep over at my house tonight, we can talk and watch movies and order pizza" I smiled " that sounds great em, il be over soon" and with that I hung up.

"Oh my god he so likes you!" Emily squealed, I had told her everything from the wierd man at the party to the texts last night. " it's not that simple though em, like you said he's not the type I should be hanging round" I bit into my pizza, she pondered over my answer before replying herself. " maybe you should give him a chance" she shrugged, I almost choked." Coming from the girl who insisted he was bad news" I rose my eyebrow. " i don't know! You should see how it goes before you make any decisions to confront him about anything" I knew she was right. We spent the rest of our night watching films and eating and talking. But Niall never left my mind once.

It had been 5 days since I had last spoken to Niall he hadn't been to school Monday or Tuesday, and I wondered what was wrong, had he gotten into trouble? No, probably just couldn't be bothered to come in like usual. I sighed as I made my way out the door, for another day of school.

Louis was leaned against my wall as I shut the door, " well hello stranger" he smiled, stranger? " what do you mean by that" I laughed as we walked to school. " I mean I haven't seen you since Friday!" He shoved me gently. I hadn't even realised! " oh my god I meant to phone you Sunday and I totally forgot!" I slapped my head groaning, " hey don't worry about it, wanna talk about what happened?" He smiled. I told him about what Niall had done to help me. " woah I'm going to stop you there, Beth don't fall for his tricks" he shook his head. " what do you mean? He did something nice" I said defensively. " yeah, he did but probably to try and get closer to you and use you for one thing, like he does to every girl"

I knew this was different, Niall did care about me, didn't he?
