After Chipper

Chapter 5

Sabre's POV
I stared out at the crowd of kids. I was happy I had at least been put on a stage up in the pizzeria instead of being stuck in the basement. I was featured almost as a foxy type animatronic. Off to the side but still a part of the animatronic group. I looked the same as I had when I was turned into an animatronic.

"H-h-Hey k-kids! W-we have th-the best p-p-pizza ever! H-have you t-tried some? S-stay a-around to see th-the band s-Sing and d-dance!"

I was talking in what was 'programmed' into me. I had long ago given into what Chipper was making me do. If I didn't I would just get hurt. And, even though it's morbid, the thrill of the chase with something that screams is exhilarating.

The curtains closed in front of me and I let out a breath of relief. I wasn't allowed to walk around the restaurant during the day, but at least I can see life. I froze in place as the curtain opened and I saw a small child come in. He looked around then waved a foam hook at me and went "yarr"

I almost laughed but stayed still. He frowned after a little bit and left. Well. Time for three more of my little shows then closing time. Wonder who Chipper got to be the night guard tonight...

Timeskip

Everyone had left, so I left my stage and walked to the entrance to the basement. I paused in the stairs before going on down. I had barely gotten out the door when a red blur ran into my arms. "S-s-Sabre!" He yelled.

I smiled. "Hey bud. How have you been?"

He mumbled something I couldn't make out, and I grinned before picking him up and making him sit on a table. I looked at him as he talked to me. He was just like a miniature foxy. The guilt came and I struggled to not show it. But he caught it because he came over to me. "Sabre." He started "It wasn't your fault. I was stupid, you weren't in control, it's okay. I've already forgiven you. But you have to forgive your self."

He finished with a huff while shaking his hook at me. I grinned at him then heard behind me "Arrr laddie. That ain't how you threaten a person. You threaten them people like this." He lept towards me and I bolted laughing. He caught me in a corner and said "Now laddie. Come here. This is how you threaten someone." He turned to me "Ya Scurvey dog why you be so stupid eyy? The kid forgives you, so forgive yourself before he tries and hurts imself or Chipper ehh? Or I will hurt you laddie. You still new here. Ya don't know all tha good hidin' places."

He stepped back and said "but no hard feelings laddie. I was showin off for the lad."

I chuckled. "Yeah. I know."

Foxy turned to him. "Lad-err Tim. I gotta go lad. Chipper will be wanting me up there to welcom tha new night guard. Ye, Sabre. Will be staying down here remember? We do need some fun befor you come an' kill im the first night."

Tim frowned and said "I don't know if I wanna hurt them. They seem nice."

Foxy and I glanced at each other. I nodded. I would explain to Tim why he had to kill the night guard. Let's hope no one I know comes along as the night guard.

Sorry for the short chapter. I was trying to get something out before I fell asleep, because I wanted to give you guys something before my birthday. (I'm turning 15) I will either be really busy or really lazy so I wanted to give you something.
