Year 305 AC

Eddard POV

House Stark never learns, those words may have come from Jon's mouth but they were Lyanna's. As she was taking control of Jon. Catelyn was crying and blaming herself. Jon has not leave his room since they found Arya's dress with blood. There was no body, we send men to try to looked for something but nothing, we only found more blood and....a death wolf. We assumed the wolf kill her and Nymeria run away after her master's death. Killed the wolf first and then disappeared. Sansa was destroyed, as a part of her was gone. Robb, who was always with her, stopped talking to her after what happened. Bran and Rickon were really angry at her mother and Sansa and they only wanted to be with Jon. At least when he go out of his room. Which was really rare these days. We did not have anything to bury Arya, only a bloody dress. It hurt so much and Jon discovered half the story of his birth and he did not even realize it. So today I decide to tell him the truth, what ever his reaction, depends on him. I knock on his door, as we were about to have Arya's funeral.

Yes?, said Jon.

It's me, I said. He open the door and what I saw, it broke my heart. Jon's eyes were red, as he was been crying for the last two days.

What's wrong father?, he said, he clean his eyes with his hands. It is time for Arya's funeral?.

No yet, I said, first I want to tell you something. Can I came in?.

Of course, he said, please enter. I enter his room.

Please sit, I said, as he sit on his bed. Remember when you told us about Lyanna escaping?.

I am sorry about that, Jon said, the anger took over me.

Well, I said, it is true.

She really escaped?, Jon asked.

Yes, I said, Lyanna run off with Rhaegar Targaryen. I am to blame for it. If never suggest to my father to marry Lyanna with Robert, she would have never done what she did.

I am their son, I am?, Jon said then, you told  everyone that I was your bastard in order to protect me from my siblings fate.

Yes, I said, I am sorry, I should have told you this earlier. Jon then hug me.

You are the only father I will ever know, Jon said, not matter what. But you should tell her. I don't care how she react, she is your wife.

Okay, I said, I will tell her. Now come on, we need to go to the crypts.

Catelyn POV

It hurt, Arya run off home because I could not see what she wanted to be and like Jon said, house Stark does not  learn. If what Jon said was truth, then Robert's rebellion is based on a lie. I was finishing getting dressed when someone knock my door.

Cat, said Ned, can came in?.

Of course, I said. He entered. He looked sad. Something wrong?.

No, he said, I need to tell you something, is about Jon. What a coincidence, I need to tell him something about him.

What about him?, I asked. Then he told that what Jon told us was truth, he figured out on his own and then after fifteenth years, he told me the identity of Jon's mother, who was Lyanna Stark with Rhaegar Targaryen. So he isn't a bastard, I said then.

No, Ned said, he is not. But the lie is the only reason we are alive today.

Then do me a favour, I said, I was going to asked you to do it anyway.

What is it?, Ned said then.

Make him one of us, I said, I made a promise to the gods and I broken that promise.

Are you sure Catelyn?, Ned asked.

Yes, I said, give him a castle. I think the gods are punishing me for breaking that promise.

Okay, Ned said, I will do it, but Cat don't think that way.

Where is he?, I asked.

On his way to the crypts, Ned said.

I will meet with him there then, I said, we all will.  As went to the crypts for Arya funeral, Jon was walking towards the crypt.  Hello Jon. I said.

Hello lady Stark, I want to apologize for my behaviour, it was wrong. I should have not scream like that, you are the mother of my siblings and I disrespect you, for that I am sorry. I was astonished, the boy, who I always was cruel to and always call him bastard, just apologize to me.

You have all the right to be angry, I said, as I hug him, you were just defending your sister. I should be apologizing to you, Jon. Lets go to you sisters funeral,

Okay, Jon said, as Jon was advancing with me, Sansa, Bran and Rickon join us and we all went to say our goodbyes to another she-wolf of Winterfell and the north.
