The land Of Make-believe!!!

PART 3.

Arriving home, that morning, Mariana realised that she had a lot to do if she was going to accept the job offer and begin touring with Il Divo. She realised that she hadn't actually told Sebastien her decision but there was no way in her heart that she was going to turn this down. It would be the diversion of a lifetime and one that she could very proudly place on her resume. It also worked out perfectly time wise as when the tour was over, she could start applying for staff nurse positions as she would be able to access her pin number. 

Turning on her lap-top, Mariana quickly set about writing an e-mail to Mr Davies, stating that she would be honoured to accept the job but that she would be a little happier if he would forward the itinerary of the tour so that she knew what to take and how long she would be away from home for. What took the time, however, was writing a list of all the equipment and stock items that she would need to complete her job in nursing everyone. She explained in the e-mail to Mr Thomas that she would need to know of any medical conditions or allergies that any of the guys had as well as everyone else that was travelling with the tour. She also needed a supply of basic medicines to be bought for stock. Once this was e-mailed to Mr Thomas, Mariana allowed herself to settle down with a well deserved coffee. 

It didn't take long before a reply came from Mr Thomas, saying that he was glad that she had accepted the offer and that he would have a courier come over for the signed contract in a few hours, giving her some time to receive, read and sign it.

Switching on the television, she allowed herself some quiet time. She would start planning her packing the next day. Choosing to have some music channel play in the background, Mariana picked up her book and started to read until she heard the familiar beep on her phone, indicating an incoming text message. Reaching over, and reading, she started to smile.

"Hope you said yes", the text simply read. It came from an unknown number but Mariana knew instantly who this was.

"Mr Izambard. I gather you got my mobile number from Mr Thomas as well. Now... did I say yes or no????", Mariana giggled as she wrote her reply. 

It didn't take long for the phone to beep again. "I think your teasing me now. You have to tell me my friend".

"My friend?. You must really want to know, lol".

The response came quickly. "Come on Mariana. This is driving me crazy. Please tell me. Pretty please. I'll buy you coffee".

"I tell you what", Mariana replied, still smiling to herself like a Cheshire cat. "Promise me that you'll buy me a very large latte and one of those amazing blueberry muffins and I'll tell you what I said to Mr Thomas. Remember that you got me hooked on them, lol".

"Your on", Sebastien answered. "How about we meet up at our usual spot tomorrow morning at 3am. I'll be the one sat on the sofa, lol. Now, please tell me".

"Ok... Ok.. I'll tell you. I said I would take the job. I'll be joining Il Divo on tour. I'm still waiting for the full details though from Mr Thomas. All I know is that I'm going to travel the world and meet the best people and then everyone will want to hire me as their nurse, lol".

"Why thank you", came a very bold answer from Sebastien. "Right, I have to go. I have a lunch booked with Urs. See you later crocodile".

"Alligator", Mariana text back, now fully laughing. "It's alligator. Your making me laugh though".

"Sorry. I always get that wrong. I'm glad that I made you laugh. Have a wonderful day and I will see you tomorrow morning". 

"Enjoy your lunch", Mariana messaged back. "And say hi to Urs from your new personal nurse". Mariana hit the send button before she realised what she had text. Quickly, she sent another. "Sorry about my last message. That sounded too creepy. I'm just the nurse. Ok, I'm rambling now. I always ramble when I'm nervous. Right. I'm going to go now. See you in the morning. Remember my coffee and blueberry muffin, lol. I think I need to go and get some sleep if I'm going to be human when I see you".
