Off The Deep End

Chapter 3

There was chatter among the sirens. Seems like there's been a huge ship. I went to get a look myself and was awe struck. It was the biggest ship we've ever seen. It looked as big as a blue whale. It even had what looked like solid gold trim and railings.
    Suddenly every one was swimming towards it. Time to start. But a ship this big needs a strong song.
I started to climb up the side which was twice as tall as I was used to. The others surrounded the ship.  I looked through a crack in the side and saw the most dazzling sight. A blond wearing a golden yellow vest with a white long sleeved undershirt that had ruffles at the neck. He had a sparkling long golden over coat that swept behind him. I felt the most remorse for that being not for his clothes but face. 'he must be the captain' I thought. I watched him go to what must have been his quarters. Still sad I began to sing a strong mind song.
 
"Deep in the meadow~

A bed of grass, a soft green pill~ow~

I gave the cue and climbed on deck men began falling into the sea. Other men came from lower decks and did the same. As I watched the sirens take them 'wait where's that man!' I thought.

"Deep in the meadow, hidden far away~
A cloak of leaves~
A moon beam ray~

Forget your woes~
and let your troubles lay~
Then again by morning~,
They'll wash away~

The men on the ship still coming to the edge of the ship and falling
Untill the last one. I still didn't see the man. " Hey their captain must be stuck I'm going to get him." They nodded and went to the kitchens. I crawled across the deck to were I saw him leave to. I began to sing the song again to make sure he was still under the spell. I opened a door with a golden triangle on it and 'BAM!!'
