After he had cried in my arms multiple times I had finally gotten the full story and understood Jimin's kind gestures.
The same day I was hurt his father had fallen ill, he collapsed in the middle of the shop earlier that day while working with Jimin. This was a few days before he transferred the owners label over to his son.
Jimin freaked out and hurriedly rushed to the hospital. "Help! Someone help!" Doctors had rushed the man into a room where nobody but the patient and doctors could be, he came back to the shop that day, anxious and wanting to get it off his mind.
That's when Jimin saw me crying, that's when he gave me the rose, that's when he put a smile on my face to blind his pain, that's where we began.
Two days later he was able to see his father who at the time was asleep. He needed a strong medication to help him and it was costly. Jimin became so frail from taking all of the profit to go for his fathers medication.
He paid off the bill for the first bottle of medication, two weeks later he started getting better but then his health declined from there and they couldn't do anything for the man. Jimin hadn't been this upset since his mother committed suicide when he was 13.
It was to a point where I could clearly see his barrier break and the bitter agony consumed him. I began crying too. It was unbelievable that such a sweet kid would have to endure all this pain.
He tried to cover up and numb the pain completely.
