4) Faint Beep

Harry POV

"Can I marry this pizza ?"  Niall moans as he takes a giant bite of his third slice.

"Niall, focus on what I'm telling you,"  I say to him while putting my second slice of pizza down.

"I've been listening, H, I swear." 

"Okay,"  I smile, shaking my head.  Liam had gone to find Zayn so I'm discussing deals with Niall.

"You know we haven't had to kill a drugger in a while,"  Niall states.

I sigh, "I know, Niall, it's because of Tomlinson... I've been up his ass and haven't been focusing on whomever deals with me, so mostly I don't care and forget to kill them."

"Look who needs to focus now," Niall chuckles, "You're hot time with Tommo is taking away our hot kills."

Niall is full on laughing when I say, "God, Niall, I didn't mean it that way ! And don't give him a nickname."

Niall calms down to say, "Sorry H, but today's been long and too serious for me."

"Like the last couple months, Ni..."

"yeah but yesterday was nice, w...we laughed more and, well I like that, I missed that,"  Niall smiles sadly.

"yeah me too,"  I sigh.

Niall POV

A few minutes after Harry and I's discussions, he ordered me to help Liam find Zayn.  After looking for a minute, I walk into the all glass-windowed plant room and find Liam and Zayn sitting against the fountain in the middle of the room.  They're smiling while I start to walk closer and smile myself.  As I near them, I can hear Liam telling jokes to Zayn to cheer him up.

"Hey guys,"  I wave so to not scare them of my appearance.

"Hey Nialler," Zayn turns looking happier.  "Harry alright mate ?  I didn't mean to explode like that."  

"Yeah, he's chill for the most part," I say sitting down. 

"For the most part ?"  Zayn questions looking worried.

I immediately reassure him, "No, Z, he's not mad at you.  You know he wants truthful feedback and will take into consideration of what you said.  He's probably happier with your response more than Li's and mine."

Zayn smiles and I do too.  "I left you a slice of pizza and you know that's hard for me,"  I exaggerate. 

Zayn laughs then jokes, "One slice Nialler, really ?" 

"Yeah.  Why didn't you order two pizzas, Ni ?"  Liam questions giggling alongside Zayn.

"I did !"  I said.  I mumbled the next few words, looking down, "I just ate the whole other pi..." 

"Niall !"  Liam and Zayn shout childishly at me while lightly pushing me back.  We all joke around from then for a few minutes.  It was a relief, I just wish Harry joined. 

(short time skip)(Night-time)

After that long day, I was so happy to cuddle up in bed, planning to have a kill tomorrow no matter what.  I was nearly asleep when I heard a faint beep kind of sound for a second and then another one about a minute later.  I had my eyes wide, I was frozen and listening intently with my whole body, but no beeps followed.  I figured it was nothing so I fell back to sleep.  Sadly, I didn't know that it definitely was something.  Not just something, but the beginning. 

Louis POV 

I'm chatting with my best man, Stan, when we both bring something up.  We come to a conclusion and I call my crew.  It was a good night.  My crew had small, simple smiles, which is rare considering they probably have really sucky and awful lives.  I don't help and I don't want to help.  They're all in the place they are in for a reason.  But tonight, they seemed relieved and so I had fun by myself, noting another task will be completed.

I don't really like this chapter... it's just  filler.

Thanks for the support and sorry I couldn't update last weekend but I'm back !

*Harry's birthday was a few days ago... I can't believe he's already 24 !  OMG

IM SO EXCITED FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER.... I can't wait until next weekend !
