When tackling in flag football, you pull the flag off of a player's belt.
Offense is the team that has the ball.
Defense is the team that does not have the ball.
A field goal is a kick that goes through the goal posts; it scores 3 points.
Off sides is a penalty when either team crosses the scrimmage line before the ball is hiked.
