Little Grubs (Homestuck Grubs x Reader)

grub! Eridan x Reader

Okay so I got an idea from a book(or a oneshot, I can't remember) and of course I forgot it because ha my memory is horrible soooo yeah. Anyways here it is I hope ya like it!!!
Also a bit sad
(Y/n)'s POV
I heard trolls coming towards the hidden hive I have lived in and they started shouting, one clearly stating he wanted my little grub dead.
I picked up Eridan and ran towards a secret entrance in the hive that lead to the ocean shore.

Eridan looked around in a frantic as I shut the hidden door.
"It is alright love." I whispered to him "I won't let them hurt you."

Walking through the I area I noticed my surroundings more.
There was a long tunnel that turned into a cave and in the cave was crystals and different little creatures. Plants grew here and there and it simply was a beautiful sight.
I have been in this area since I knew I needed a way to escape from intruders, but I never tried to just look at the beauty of this wonder anddd I still can't.

I quickly rushed to the exit as fast as I could making sure my scarf was keeping Eridan, as well as myself, warm.

I almost tripped on a little stream in the cave that lead to a good sized lake which glowed a crystal blue-ish green.
Turning a sharp left I saw the exit, soon making it out I heard distant yells of those cruel trolls.

I looked at Eridan and smiled as best as I could, knowing what I had to do scared me.

The intruders ran around looking for that little highblooded troll. Knowing he would be the future, they wanted him gone.

Not knowing it, they came closer to Eridan and his lusi, ___, A troll who took the poor troll that no one wanted in.
You would think he would be wanted, but nope everyone left him to die.

___ sighed and told Eridan something they would never regret.
"Eridan go in the water and hide don't come back until I get you okay?"
Eridan nodded as he was set down in the warm sand.

A perfect day to just relax and stare at ocean, but no it actually wasn't.

Eridan swam into the water and started exploring the undersea, not understanding what would happen to his guardian.

The trolls saw the one who took the young grub into care and started to attack them. Not letting themselves to get to know the kind hearted troll. They would never understand that they changed Eridan's future for the rest of his life.

Eridan swam around a little longer until it was dark. It was odd because he got into the water about noon.
Where is his lusus?
He thought of where his lusus was and after much debate he went against his lusi's words and went out of the water.
There he looked for his guardian that cared for him so much, but nothing was there and soon he started to tear up.
Small squeaks were heard and soon the poor youngling saw a sight a grub should never see.

His lusi laid on the sand lifeless. The poor grub ran to them and started to move their hand trying to get their attention, but the troll was long gone.
His squeaks were loud and whimpers came out of the poor grubs mouth.
No one would hear his cries, but he still tried.

Tears kept streaming down Eridan's face as he nuzzled into his lusi's neck, feeling their warm scarf brush against both of them.

Eridan finally understood his perfect guardian was gone and he couldn't do anything about it.
He blamed those lowblooded trolls for everything and he swore he would kill them all one day.
He gave a loud screech as anger washed over the once saddened grub.

He took the scarf of the once alive troll and wrapped it around himself as he went towards the ocean.

Eridan knew he would fend for himself and he wasn't scared anymore, just angry.

He turned to his lusus once again and gave a small purr, promising to get vengeance.

Over time Eridan found a new lusus, but he never could forget his real lusus.
The one that made him feel like he mattered in the cruel world that he lived in.

It was lonely without anyone and when his flush crush did talk to him it would only be for so long.

Over time Eridan did bury the body of his lusus since he didn't know what else to do and almost all of his time was at that small cove area where his once happy days were.
Eridan keeps that place to him self and lets no one see it. It was his place where he knew his lusus watched him as he put his feet in the water and stared at the sky.

Sooooo..... Anyone get the feels? I kinda want to make a book out of this or if I'm really up for it, an animation. I mean I could, but I'm not sure. What do y'all think?
Also sorry if the ending was bad I was writing this at night and then I fell asleep so I forgot what I was going to write so ya... anyways PLEASE REQUEST IM DESPERATE
