After all this time (An erisol fanfiction)

Part 1 (Sollux's POV)

I woke up to the sound of loud knocking on my door. Not my bedroom door but it was loud enough to be. I rolled over and got up, groaning as I did. The knocking persisted so I didn't bother to put a shirt on. Instead I went straight to the front door.

I opened and some guy I didn't know was standing there. He had a neat white button up shirt, khaki shorts, thick black-rimmed glasses, and purple sandals on. He was lightly tanned with freckles scattered across his face and arms and his hair was a medium brown with a light brown streak in the front. He shifted when he noticed me looking him up and down. I looked back up at his face and he waved slightly.

"Hi, I'm your new neighbor. Well sort of, I just moved in across the street." he said, holding his hand out for me to shake it. I didn't. "What do you want?" I asked, sounding grumpy. Probably because I was. He disturbed my sleep just to introduce himself. "Well I was hopin' I could meet you. We talked over the internet. I'm Eridan."

My eyes widened and he laughed softly. This was it, we were finally meeting after all those times we talked. I pulled him into the house and closed the door behind us then hugged him tightly. "Whoa, I didn't realize you were this excited to see me." He joked. I just smiled and nodded. Then I pulled him into my room and we sat on the bed.

We talked about everything we couldn't online. Once we finished it was around 1AM and he had to leave. After we said our goodbyes I went back to my room and laid on my bed, thinking about everything we'd told each other. Before I knew it, I had drifted off to sleep.
