After all this time (An erisol fanfiction)

Part 3 (Sollux's POV)

I sighed and slid back against the door. Why was FF going to see him? I wonder if he likes her... No stop that Sollux, they were just being polite.

I heard a knock at my door which startled me. I jumped up and turned around, taking a deep breath then opening the door.

"Hey Sol, can I come in?"

I stared at Eridan for a few minutes before opening the door the rest of the way, letting him in.

"So... do you know who that girl was?"

"Oh uhm... yeah. That was FF, my... nevermined..."

He looked me in the eyes and walked a bit closer. Dammit, why did I say something?! I didn't want him to know FF was my ex...

"Your w-what Sol?"

He must've been nervous because he stuttered.

"It doesn't matter ED. She's... just a friend."

I forced a smile and he smiled back.

"So... is that all you came over here for?"

He stared at me, or really behind me, before answering.

"Oh uh, no. I just wanted to hang out with you today. Did you have plans?"

I shook my head. I'm glad he came over, I actually really wanted to ask him something.

"Was there something you wanted to do?"

That wasn't the important thing I wanted to ask him, trust me.

"Anythin' is fine. I was actually wonderin' if you could show me around."

"Yeah sure."

He smiled. God his smile was adorable.

"But before we go, you might wanna get dressed."

I looked down at myself, blushing from embarrassment. I hadn't realized I just had boxers on. I mumbled "oh shit..." before hurrying to my room. I hurried to find clothes. I ended up with a red plaid shirt, black jeans, my usual two-colored shoes, and my 3D glasses. I brushed my hair a bit to. I wanted to look decent and not like I just woke up.

I walked back into the living room where Eridan was sitting on the couch. I cleared my throat and he looked up.

"You look good Sol."

I blushed a little. He said I looked good...

"Thanks... you to"

Dammit Sollux, don't mess this up.

"Thanks, ready to go?"

He smiled that adorable smile again and I nodded. We headed out the door and I started walking towards town. He was walking behind my for a while but then he caught up and took my hand, intertwining our fingers. I blushed lightly and looked at him. He was looking around, smiling happily. I smiled to.

~ Time skip ~

After showing him a few of my favorite places in town we stopped by a family restaurant to get something to eat. They sat us in a booth near the back.

Eridan was still looking over the menu when the waiter came. I ordered my usual and he ordered some seafood dish I didn't even know they had.

After the waiter left with our orders and menus Eridan yawned.

"Tired?"

"Mhm..."

It was quiet after that until the waiter came with our food. We ate quickly and I paid, then we left. He took my hand again as we walked.

"Hey Sol?"

"Yeah?"

"Thanks..."

"No problem"

He looked at me and smiled then kissed my cheek. I blushed and touched my cheek. Did he just...?

"Sol, I... sorry..."

"Its ok, don't worry about it... ED do you wanna stay the night?"

"Yes!"

We both smiled and ran the rest of the way back to my house.

*eyebrow woggle* It's gonna get fluuuffy... probably. Sorry this chapter is short, it'll get better. But hey, I updated it. I'm not sure when the next update will be though... I hope soon. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed.
