Selena’s POV
“Hey” I happily answered Justin’s right on schedule phone call.
“Can you just come home,” He choked through the phone.
“What?” I asked confused & taken back by his voice.
“Just come home, please” he pleaded his voice full of exhaustion & sadness.
“Babe what’s wrong?” I asked my heart clenching with worry.
“I just miss you & need you,” I could picture his pouty lip & his shrug of his shoulders.
“I miss you too, ill be home in a few days,” I soothed trying to reassure him.
He was promoting his single & I knew he was exhausted; I wanted nothing more than to wrap my arms around him & tell him to get some sleep. Problem is I’ve been overseas shooting a movie for the past 2 & a half weeks & it was taking its toll on us.
“Just come home now,” he whined but sighing deeply knowing that I couldn’t come home yet.
“Soon,” I breathed
There was a moment of silence both of us just listening to the other breath; I could have sat there listening to him breath all night.
“I leave 2 days after you get home,” he whispered & you could hear how painful it was for him to say it.
“I know…. We’ll be fine.” I assured him & myself.
“I’m going to be gone so much the next few months, you have to come with me to a few places.” He spoke his voice getting hopeful.
“We’ll look over our schedules when I get home & work something out, we always do.” I smiled.
“How are you so strong & just cool with this,” he asked
I laughed, “Do you not remember a week after I left? The crying phone calls to you late at night, it’s hard but we can get through it, just have to comfort each other when one of us is missing the other one like crazy.”
“You’re right, You’re right. Can I see you on skype tonight er, in the morning… wait what time is it over there?”
“I film till about 8am ill call you when I’m back at the hotel,”
“ok don’t die in any of the car crashes okay?”
“I promise I wont die,” I chuckled rolling my eyes at him.
“I love you,”
“I love you too, now let me get to work!” I teased
“okay okay go!
“Bye” I chuckled as I listened for him to hang up.
“Bye baby,” he chucked back before he hung up.
Justin’s POV
“Is her flight still on time?” I asked Brian as I fidgeted with my hands.
Brian chuckled as he shook his head,
“I’m headed into get her now,” he said as he stood up.
I watched out the window as Brian walked inside, I waited & waited just waiting to see her walk out those doors. Finally I saw a bunch of security & Brian coming out the doors & I couldn’t wait any longer & I opened the car door. Her eyes met mine for a brief second before she looked down from the flash of the cameras, but I saw her smile. She quickly climbed into the van & as soon as Brian was in & the door closed her arms were around my neck & my hands were around her waist.
“Hey baby,” I whispered taking in her face & the adorable smile on her face.
She leaned up pressing her lips to mine & her hands ran down the back of my neck holding my head in place while our lips moved together.
“I missed you,” she said shyly as she pulled away finally aware of the few other people in the van.
I kissed her lips softly once more,
“I missed you more.”
She moved to sit down running her hands down my biceps & holding onto tight pulling me down next to her.
She leaned her head on my shoulder & I rubbed her knee as we pulled out onto the road.
“Are you hungry?” I asked pressing my cheek to the top of her head.
“Not really,” she said quietly,
I gasped, “Selena not hungry, are you sick?” I teased as she moved her head to look up at me.
“I just wanna sleep,” she said playing with the bottom of my t-shirt.
“ok” I said leaning forward & pressing my lips gently to her forehead.
Selena’s POV
“I can’t sleep now,” I whispered,
Justin & I had snuggled in my bed about a half hour ago & as tired as I was I couldn’t sleep.
Justin shifted slightly pressing me closer to his chest,
“Just close your eyes & think of nothing,” he breathed tiredly,
“I cant,” I said again as I snaked my legs between his.
He breathed heavily & shifted so I was no lying on my back & he was up on his elbow looking down at me, our legs still tangled together. He rubbed his eyes & looked down at me, the moonlight from my window highlighting his features.
“Why not?” he asked running his finger tips along my lower abs.
“I’ve already missed a lot of time with you, I don’t want to waste the time I do have with you, sleeping.” I shrugged reaching up to run my own fingertips along his bare chest.
“Baby I’m not going anywhere, you & I both need sleep though,”
“I know” I sighed running my hand up over his shoulder & down his arm.
“I know something we could do that would make you tired,” he smirked trailing his hand farther up my under my tank top.
“I’m suddenly feeling like I could fall asleep now,” I teased wrapping my arms around his neck pulling him down to me.
“Well you’ll be extra tired when where done then,” he chuckled attaching his lips to my neck.
