Mr. Peabody X Leia

Mr. Peabody drew a breath as he clenched onto a bouquet of roses of red, white,and yellow. Over the past six months,since the day they met,he had felt strong feelings towards Leia -an autumn colored spaniel. Though he had the blissful thought of her accepting his love, he also had the heart breaking idea the she might reject him. He wasn't sure anymore if he was ready to do it. Yet he had to, it was the day of February, valentines day.

He leaped off of his red scooter and slowly walked towards the spaniel's door. When he was close to the door, he sighed, held the flowers close to his chest and knocked confidently on the door. He felt his stomach knot up as he heard footsteps faintly come to the door and open it. An autumn colored spaniel, with dazzling golden eyes, smiled," Hello, Mr. Peabody." She said as she smiled.

"H-Hello Leia." Mr. Peabody said nervously.

Leia looked down at the bouquet of roses and asked,"Oh, are those the roses that Mr. Peterson asked for his wife for today?"

"Uh...n-no. These are actually for you.", he said blushing through his clear white fur on his cheeks.

Leia was in shock,"P-Peabody, w-what are you trying to say?"

"What I'm trying to say is...is that...I've l-liked you for long while now and," he said, with his cheeks turning from pink to red as he tried to speak.

Leia's eyes lit up, she blushed a little, and smiled as she realized what was going on. "Like?" She asked as she crossed her arms, raised and eyebrow, and leaned herself against the door frame.

Mr. Peabody was stunned. How did she figure it out that fast? He thought as he felt as if she read his mind the whole time. He then sighed as he realized the fact that she was as smart as him. He looked back into her golden eyes," Well...maybe much more than that, so to speak." He confessed.
Leia blushed as he said that. She honestly had no idea that he felt this way about her, 'till now. She also felt the same way about him but she was afraid that if she were to tell him, he would scorn her. Now, she realized that he was in love with her.

She tried extremely hard to resist wagging her tail while she was facing the white, brilliant, intelligent beagle. Leia smiled and said," Wow, I never knew you felt that way about me before. I thought you only treated me as a friend. I never have given the opportunity to tell you this because I thought you'd scorn me,but I...feel the same way."

Mr.peabody was in pure shock now. "So...after these past six months you..." His words trailed off, his thoughts of her rejecting him vanished from his mind, he had no need to be nervous anymore.

Leia nodded twice and smiled." I have always felt this way towards you,in fact I was going to ask you if you'd like to go to dinner with me tonight." She said blushing while rubbing her arm.

Mr.Peabody blushed and smiled," oh well... of course I'll go with you. Here." he said as passed the flowers to her. She grabbed them gently ,sniffed them, and smiled. "These are my favorite. How'd you know?"

"Well first I thought you'd think it was clichéd,but I decided to get them for you anyways. I also have one more question."He smiled.

"What is it?"

Mr. Peabody inhaled a deep breath. " Leia, would you do me the honor of being my valentine?"

Leia smiled,"Of course I will and I'm very grateful for the flowers. So... You'll pick me up at seven then?"

"Of course."

"Great." Leia,without a second thought, kissed Peabody on the cheek and closed the door. Mr. Peabody blushed and smiled. He then turned around, walked towards his scooter,got on, and put on his helmet. As he started the engine, drove away from the home of his dream girl, he new that this would be a start of a wonderful relationship.
