Nico POV

--------

I have faced King Minos. I have faced Titans, Kronos himself. I have faced Hades. And Thanatos. And Tartarus. And the Giants. I have faced Prophecies and wars. I have faced far more than what someone of my age should have. And yet, nothing has ever scared me like this.

I have her here, with me.

In front of me.

And I'm scared. Not of getting hurt, that wouldn't be new. No.

Of loosing her. Again. I can't... I won't.

I'm so scared I can't even think of what to say. I don't know what to do.

And it would seem neither she does. She is just there, waiting.

"What are you waiting for?" It's a surprise I can talk. I think more for me than for her.

"You. Explaining yourself. How you could forget me. And them, I'll stab you until you are dead."

Well, she gets to the point, I'll grant her that.

"I won't go there again. I didn't forget you Bi, and only you saying that, hurts more than you stabbing me until 'I'm dead'."

"Didn't you? You moved on."

Now I understand. "Is that all about? Moving on? You think that, because I moved on, I forgot you? You could been more wrong. Moving on is hardly the same as forgetting. It's to make peaces with what happened. It's learning to live, even smile again, without breaking, is... Is learning to appreciate life, when I don't have you by my side anymore... But not forgetting, never forgetting. If you think I could ever forget you Bi... You meant the world to me... I... I would have died, if it hadn't been for the people you leaved in charge of me. You saved me, even being dead... If you really think... I... Bi... I..." I don't know what else I could say, and then, I just manage to finish, trying to sum up everything I feel for her:

"You live lightened my past. And your death shaped my future." I... I really don't know what else I can say to make her understand.

I would do anything to save her now. And I know that the only way now is reaching her, with words.

After a while of silence, when I finally think I have her back, she just spring at me. Sword in hand. And in that moment, I know what I have to do.

Thalia POV

----------

We know what to do. We get ready, raising our shields and drawing our swords. Then, Luke just smiles and says sarcastically "What? Not lovely words?" Ok, that, I didn't expect it.

"What do you want us to say Luke? You were our brother. And yet, you betrayed us."

"I... what? No, I didn't. You did, forgetting me."

"Again with that, we didn't forget you!"

"Yes you did. The moment you let the gods act as if nothing had happened. Maybe I was wrong, allying whit the Titans and the monsters, but I wasn't wrong in my crusade."

"Your crusade against the gods? You know how stupid that sounds?"

"Does it? What difference does it make how they treat us to how their parents treated them? And how did that ended? They are arrogants, they don't worry about us, their children. And yet, we praise them. We consider them our saviours. Please. How can you be so blind?"

"If you had killed them. If Olympus had fallen, what would have happen with the innocents? All the people?"

"That is just an excuse. That is the thing, they made it so they would be linked to the people. That, if they dissapeared, if they died, the people suffered. Heroes don't do that."
