My life was flashing in front my eyes,all my happy moments with Ethan were now turning to sad memories. My first time meeting him,my mother,my brothers and sisters. I was now leaving them. Then suddenly something happened, a voice was speaking to me.
"Kitty, do you want to go back."
"Yes!" I replied happily. I was overflowing with joy,Ethan am I coming.
"BUT!" The voice boomed, scaring me out of my thoughts, "You have to do what I tell you."
I was willing to do anything for him, I wish that I could talk with him but I ok with just being there for him.
I wanted to be human.
And as if the voice heard my thoughts it answered.
"You can become human but if you die again you will never be able to come back."
I wasn't sure about this, but would do anything for my master.
"Ok! I will do it." I knew I was going to regret that choice, but at least I would be with my master.
As soon as I said that a bright light came around me, my paws were turning to hands and feet.I got bigger and bigger until I was as tall as a human, maybe a little short but still, I no longer had fur or a need to walk on four feet.
"You will be able to turn to a cat whenever you miss your old self, but don't change too much it might hurt you." And with that I black out.
Ethan's POV
I miss kitty, every since June told me that she died I never felt the same. I miss how she always purred when she ate her food or when we used to cuddle up together.
I miss her.
I knew that it's weird but l want her back, she my first pet and she was alway there for me when I felt low, purring or cuddling to let me know that she was there for me.She was also there for me when my father died.
" Ethan, did you zone out again." June said smiling. I smile back but said nothing.
"Ethan, you need to get over that cat, she's just an animal." She stated. I didn't want to hear it, kitty wasn't just a cat to me,she was my best friend.
"Ok, maybe I can just a new cat." I said sadly.
The smirk that June had on that day still scares me today.
