On a cold winters day a young sleeping girl only about three years of age is taken into the forest. She was born with red eyes and has a wolf tail ears and white spikes protruding from the fur covering her back like a cape. Her hair is black and shaggy. For months the beowulfs have been coming close to the village. And they only stop when they see the child. She isn't human they said. She is not one of us she's a monster like the Grimm. That's what they said. They hoped they would leave the village alone. Once they had the girl that would be enough.
A small girl sitting in a basket rubs her eyes and looks around. She yawns and crawls out of her basket.
Beowulfs are attracted to the tiny human ...a smaller wolf goes over to her and gives her a lick in curiosity.
Grimm don't eat humans they only kill them.
But these Grimm don't want to hurt the child.
In fact the more time they're with the child the clearer their minds become.
The child puts her hand on the Grimm's head and giggles. "Puppy!" She says. Giggling she raises her arms "up!" She says. The wolf backs and she says "no up?"
A medium sized Grimm comes over and picks up and child and holds her in his large hand....
