Cinder reaches down and picks up the unconscious girl. She pets the Grimm dragon.

Sh..she says. She gets onto an air ship that her disciples got for her. You got the girl! Mercury says. Cinder doesn't say anything she can't.

She places her on a metal table in a windowless chamber and straps her down.

Then she sedates her just to be sure she doesn't wake.

She removes all of her weapons and doesn't notice her necklace (think perception filter) as she looks through her clothing.

The air ship lands and minions come in to collect the prisoner. Azdra is carried in horizontally and placed in the cystral room. You brought her back to me. Salem smiles.

You have done well child. You have taken her place as my right hand and now she will face her punishment. Salem goes over to the girl. Are you going to kill her? Mercury asks. No. That would be too...merciful.

Cinder grins. She's kneeling on the floor in front of the throne that Salem sits on.

Azdra is at her feet and emerald and mercury are behind cinder.

Tyrian is balanced on one of the chair pedestals

Hazel and watts stand off to the left and right respectively.

Ahhh...Salem says. I know. We will simply bring out her inner Grimm she says.

No longer will we treat her as a girl.

No longer will she be called Azdra.

Azdra is dead. Salem says.

She reaches down and touches Azdra's head Watts? Yes? Do you have it? Of course. He says.

He takes out a few vials and a needle and he fills it and hands it to her.

Thank you Watts. Azdra looks at him and says bastard.

He smiles.

Salem puts the first of the "treatment" into Azdra's neck.

Azdra tries to speak but all that comes out is a bark. That turned off your language inhibiter Salem says you're lucky I don't cut out your tongue. She says.

She holds her hand out for the next vial which is a dark red color. This will make you more...obedient.

She says. Azdra Roars and tries to get out of Salem's vice like grip.

Azdra enters a mind fog and she goes limp by the 5th vial. The sixth vial completes the transformation....Azdra twitches and tries to fight but she goes limp and her limbs begin to contort and her back hunches and she kneels down on all fours.

Her eyes are open and she's glaring daggers at Salem. She tried to speak but it comes out as a raspy bark. Ohh! Play thing Tyrian gets onto her back and pokes her in the back with his tail.

13 months later...

A humanlike Grimm is running on all fours towards a town master is on her back as she runs and runs. He jumps off of her back and she steps back licking her paws. Tyrian calls to her SLAVE!

When the Grimm looks up the kids see it isn't a Grimm it's ...Azdra? Azdra diverts her attention from Tyrian to Jaune.

Tyrian takes out a whip and hits it on her back.

Take down him and her. Tyrian commands.

Azdra tries to resist but she slowly walks over to Ren and Nora anyway. Ren? I don't know Nora. Ren says.

She's still there can feel it. What should we do? I ...Azdra turns and looks at Tyrian who is losing the fight he and Qrow are at a stand off.

Azdra sees her chance and she slowly stalks over. What are you doing?! Tyrian asks and he takes out his tail and it's going for Qrow but Azdra leaps forward and knocks him out of the way of the stinger before it's cut off.

YOU ANIMAL! he says. He gets up and Qrow glances at the hybrid for a moment before standing in front of her. Tyrian's eyes are wide. Don't worry she'll forgive you he says. He looks at Azdra.

Slave come! He says. I don't think she's listening to you anymore Qrow says. Ohhh.. Azdra steps in front of Qrow and bears her teeth and her spikes stick up out of her back.

Tyrian runs off. Azdra slumps to the ground. Qrow and the others look at her ...Qrow puts his weapon on his back and he bends down I'm sorry kid he says.

I'm so sorry. Azdra looks up at him. She curls onto her side and slowly the spikes begin to get shorter and golden glyphs surround her and Qrow says step back guys ...he watches as her spine reforms and what's left is

Azdra more or less scars all over her body and a wound in her stomach that she is pressing on with her arm. He goes over to her.

Azdra? He says. Azdra looks up at him and her eyes widen. She tries to prop herself up but then she gasps and slumps back onto the ground.

Azdra?! Qrow says. Azdra!
