Callum's P.O.V

"Morning class, " Mrs Lees chirped, just like she does every morning.

"We have a new student joining us today, so if you could all be good people and make her feel welcome, that would be lovely," Mrs Less announced looking a little worried. I would be to though if I had this class every single morning.

Everyone was instantly talking about this new girl, and wondering what she looked like or were she came from.

It amuses me to watch people gossip. I know that may sound creepy in so many ways, but its true. To watch people involve them selves in something that has nothing to do with them is confusing. Honestly do people not have better things to talk about.

I heard the two so called 'popular' girls Tayler and Lydia, talking in front. Yeah, I guess I was ease dropping.

"So according to Sarah this chicks from like... America I think," Tayler said while twirling a piece of her hair around her finger.

"Omg really," Lydia replied.

"Well that's what Sarah told me."

Hmm a bit of American meat could be a rather interesting add to this class.

I felt someone nudge the side of my arm and I immediately turned around. I was in no time staring at the biggest and goofiest smile from the one and only Ashton, who was one my of my best mates.

No! Best mate would be an understatement. More like my brother.

I couldn't help but laugh at his stupid ass.

"What?" I finally said as I calmed myself down.

"Well gi'day  to you to mate," Ashton said but I just rolled my eyes.

"Anyways," Ashton continued, "If she's hot, I call shotgun."

Before I could even say anything I was cut off by Michael, another 'brother.'

"Fuck off Ashton, you called dibs on the last new chick remember?," Michael argued.

"Yeah but the other chick tried to bloody rape me, do you remember?" Ashton whined

Being Michael I knew he wasn't going to let this go anytime soon.

"That's not my fault you dibs a crazy bitch!"

"Michael, what have I told you about swearing?" Mrs Lees growled from her desk.

"Sorry Mrs," was all he said.

"Why don't you guys just play rock, paper, scissors and who ever wins gets shotgun," I spun round not even realizing Luke was there.

"Isn't that a little insulting on her behalf?" Ashton said.

"I'm pretty sure shot gunning her is just insulting her as well," Luke continued.

I couldn't help but laugh at how childish they were being. For some reason we always get like this about girls. Always... i don't know.

Minutes had passed and the boys had pretty much forgotten about this new girl.

We were all talking about what we were gona work on in band practice after school. Yeah we had a little band thing going on and we went that bad either, but it wasn't really going anywhere.

Luke was telling us about a new song he was working on and that it was actually sounding rather decent. By the look on his face he seemed quite proud of himself, which made me a little excited.

"Callum?" I heard Mrs Lees call from the front of the class.

"Is Callum here today?"

"I'm right here Mrs," I called back raising my hand so she could find me.
