I started writing actual short stories in 7th grade. Many of them were dark and Grimm and focus on death and depression. I had a lot on my mind and wrote when singing and drawing didn't help anymore. I gave up in 8th and 9th grade, but slowly got back into it after a friend convinced me I could write and draw fairly well. I would spend hours writing and found poems and romance to come easy to me.
In 10th grade, I got put in a creative writing class. I wrote everything I could. From fan fiction to poems, I developed a certain sarcastic and thinking writing style that seemed to bewilder people. I gave up parts of my life in each story that I wrote. People became scared of my writing and realized the quit girl I'm the back of the class had a dirty and violent mind.
Now, as a junior, I figured out a way to write what people called smut, even as a virgin. I became too comfortable with the idea of it all and now I'm able to write it semi-comfortably.
Although I've grown, I'm still not as good as I'd like to be and I can't wait to become better.
