Labor Pains

Three weeks later Chloe and I were Chilling at her place watching Caydence run around on a sugar high. "Chris. Make her stop!" Chloe screamed. I laughed. "Wat am I supposed to do? U gave her all that candy Clo." She just shook her head as we watched Caydence bounce off the walls. Literally!

A couple hours later Caydence was knocked out. Up in her room. I looked at the time. It was 9pm. She'd be asleep for the rest of the night. I was walking back to Chloe's room. When I walked through the door she was changing into her night clothes. "Caydence is sleep. I guess I'll head on home." I said grabbing my shoes off her floor. "No. Stay." She said quickly. I looked at her and smiled. "Are u sure?" A smile crept on her face and she nodded Yes. I lit up. I took off my jeans and shirt before sliding into bed with her. She snuggled up next to me, just like old times, and I played in her hair as she drifted off to sleep. That night I went to sleep the happiest man on earth.

I woke up hurting in the middle of the night. "Bae are u OK?" Chris asked me. I shook my head no and clenched the sheets. "I think I'm in labor." I whispered as I felt another contraction shoot through my body. I cried. The pain was excruciating. Chris got up and got dressed. Calling his mom and asking her to come pick up Caydence so we could go to the hospital. Mama Joyce made it there in 10mins flat.

When we got to the hospital I was able to get an epidural and after that, everything else was a blur....
