My Lost Twin

|Chapter 3 - A Trip Down Memory Lane|

He looked out the peep hole and noticed the mirrored figure of Jade standing there. Lewis briskly unlatched the door and heaved the girl into the building whilst wrapping his right arm around her waist and his left hand on her mouth. He muffled her speech and pushed her down to the floor: forcing her head to veer on to the muddy walls. Lewis moved towards the left of the room - moving into a smaller room - and left Jenny in the corner huddled up with a man stood in front of her. His big, masculine figure had her looking at him in fear. He looked at her coldly, gutted his teeth and folded his arms as his gaze fell to her arms. Her bare arms hugged her knees tighter as he came closer to her and bent down to her level.

"Listen, your sister will come to you under one condition," the man spoke in a husky voice.

Jenny looked up with a shocked expression making its way to her face.

"You? Where is my sister? Tell me now!" Jenny angrily questioned the muscular man.

"Oh so you remember me? Listen up Jenny, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. You either give me one hundred pounds and I give you your sister back. Or Lewis will make sure you don't see another day. Nor will your sister live for another blink!" He threatened. Who does he think he is?

Just as I questioned him mentally, Lewis walked back in the room but this time with a girl that has ripped clothes and red mark highlighting the edge of her swollen lips.

"Jade!" Jenny screamed out to her sister and ran to her.

"What the hell did you do to her? You little scum! Move it now. What do you think? Huh? You can just kidnap my sister like that and get away with it? Not on my watch you can't!" Jenny screamed angrily into the faces of her sister's kidnapper.

Just as she was about to continue, Lewis interrupted her, "Excuse me! Let me make one thing clear Jenny," he started speaking in a gruff voice and gripped Jennys' wrist tightly; twisting it to the side. He continued to speak, "Your parents killed my parents. All because of them I am an orphan and all because of your stupid parents!" he spat at me. As confused as I was I couldn't speak. I would've but I couldn't: instead, Jade spoke for me.

"Listen up mister! Talk straight alright! Not in a rigid line because that won't get you anywhere. What do you mean they "killed your parents"?" Jade forced the words out of her mouth with emphasis on "killed your parents".

"If you think you can just come on in and kidnap me then ask for money like nothing happened then you're wrong. And for your information, we are an orphan to. Our parents died when we were young," Jade muttered, anger evident in each later. She pushed back the tear that was starting to trickle down her face.

"Listen girl, I don't have time for any of this nonsense okay! Your parents got in a car accident and killed my parents. A couple of months later, your parents also "died". Coincidence? I think not," he declared.

"You little brat! You killed my parents? How could you? Why would you even do that?" Jenny screamed whilst crying. Jade was now shouting at Liam and hyperventilating between her cries.

"Oh just shut up already! Listen, what's done is done and we can't change any of that. So now tell me. Are you going to give the money or would you rather give your life?" Liam shouted as he pushed Jade to the side and grabbed Jenny by her waist. Her grabbed her waist and pulled her closer to his chest. He lowered his ears down to hers and muttered under his breath.

"You scumbags! Get out of the way you filthy little rats!" The door flung open to reveal Amina swearing and Sophia standing heroically.

"Get out of the way," Amina shouted as she ran towards Jade and Jenny.

She grabbed the two of then and shoved then to a corner gently. She was about to console then when she thought that best would be to abuse Liam first. She pulled him to his feet, almost tearing his pants...He heard the slight rasp of material ripping. She forced a hard grip on to a stick and hit him where it hurts.

Sophia walked in and kicked Lewis in the back. She grabbed him by the neck and threw him around. Instead of looking who had pushed him, Lewis tried to save himself from falling. The edge of Sophias' heel shot out from under him. Someone kicked him again. He fell to the right, into the hinges of the door. A foot came up from the pavement and kicked him in the face. But not the same foot as before. This was the foot of the police. Two officers came in, grabbed the two men and arrested them. Officer Ross came in and started to gather the evidence.

"Thank you Amina. We have all the evidence we need to sentence Liam for ten years of prison without trial. And as for Lewis. Well regarding his crimes, he committed: burglary; theft; assult against person with injury; robbery; kidnapping; sexual harassment; hacking and threats/black mailing with money. This leaves him with two months in prison and then sentenced to death without trial. Thank for all your cooperation girls," Officer Ross told us then left the area.

We all looked at each other and laughed it off. We drove home quickly and got some simple medical care for Jade. Jade's only though left was wild,

"And that was my story. The story that explains how my boyfriend...became my kidnapper and almost my murderer,"
