Ghostly Blue eyes stared at the stars. The stars were quite beautiful this night. But then again they're beautiful almost every other night, its just that she's looking at them more closely then when she was alive. She felt alive but she knew she wasn't. Her hand was becoming quiet transparent, and she knew soon her time on earth would soon come to an end. She finished what was holding her back.

" The Butterflies..."  She glanced at the blue spirits in front of her. These blue butterflies are supposed to take her to her finial place. She didn't want to leave everyone behind. She had just wanted to stop the pain she was feeling.

It seems as though Ghosts still have hearts. Hers felt as though it was breaking into tiny pieces. She watched her one true friend play with his little sister in a park. She was worried about him, and she was scared to leave him. But little by little her memories were fadeing. And a long with those memories her heart was too. She sits in this park for days, but to her days could feel like seconds. Sometimes they even felt like years. She just sat under the gigantic oak tree and hummed. Sometimes the boy Benjamin and his little sister Nickie, would sit with her for a picnic. Or just to play in the field in front of her. Unaware of the blue eyed spirit watching over them.

The wind blowed across the fields. The Lonely Ghost could feel the wind picking up parts of her heart to take it to a new place. She looked at her hands just staring at the grass beneath it. She laughed at how funny it must me for this to become her new normal.
Though no one really talked to her she was at least recognized as actually being there. So now she felt completely alone. Even with the little families playing and the ducks quacking and children's shrieks of joy and laughter. And music playing. She felt alone and she couldn't connect with any of the things there. The Ghost glanced at the ducks watching how Nickie was feeding them bread. The ghost was envious of the ducks. They could eat food. The Ghost couldn't, she couldn't even remember her name.

With a sigh a large shard of the Ghost's heart flew down with the wind. And Ghostly blue eyes started to become dull again as she aimlessly watched the children play.

She was getting tired as more blue butterflies glowed and gleamed past her tired face, she fought off the sleep. For if you fall asleep, you can no longer stay in the human world. Her eyes were tired and she wanted to shut them.

But the Ghost was determined to stay awake.

' Just a little longer... Just give me more time...'

She sat up straighter as her brown hair blew in the wind. And she continued watching over the ones she loved with a tired expression, her fading body barely even there, but her eyes glowed brighter revealing her soul was still fighting.

The wind blew harder and yet another part of her heart flew in the wind.
