"Jinyoung! Come over here!"

I gasped from my own daydreaming when I saw my friends approach me,

"I think he is daydreaming again."

"When did he is not daydreaming?"

Both of them giggled and I shook my head. I walk toward them and the next we know, we've laughed together.

My name is Bae Jinyoung. I'm 19 years old and I'm a hunter from western association. Ah if you are wondering, hunter is a human whose being trained to kill vampire. I was 2 years old when the hunters found me and took me to live with them. They said I was the only survivor when my whole town was attacked by vampires. I don't remember much about my childhood apart from the hard training I've been through for years.

I live in the midst of the battle between vampire and human. Vampire is not a dead creature as you think. They live, breathe, and can mating like other living things, but what sets us apart from the vampire is food and strength.

It's not secret that vampire's food is human blood. Actually they can also drink animal blood but according to them human blood is more delicious. Their strength is also greater, much faster, and much stronger. The war between humans and vampire has been going on for hundreds of years and I often ask when this war will all end.

I turned to the little-headed boy at my left side. His name is Lee Daehwi, he is 18 years old. He is my only friend in this western castle. He came to this castle when he was 8 years old and I was 9 years old. I heard he is also the only one left from his village. The similarity of fate gets me close to him. We depend on each other, protect each other, and rely on each other. The relationships of the hunters are not as close as you think, but Lee Daehwi and me is different. He is the only one I have and so does myself for him. I was willing to die for him and so did Daehwi to me.

Suddenly I felt a finger pressed on my cheek. I turned to my right and saw a cute boy who smiled mischevously,

"Don't be too serious Bae Jinyoung."

Park Jihoon. At first glance he looks like a normal 20-year-old boy, but he has an interesting history. He is a human being whose raised by the strongest vampire clan, The East Of Cassylum. A bunch of vampires from the east association which is mostly a pure blood vampires. The East Of Cassylum is slightly different from other vampire clan. They only attack humans and vampires who fight them. They are vampires with modern thought and also a far more advanced in war strategy or weapons than any other group. They stay hidden in the dark and very organized. They want peace and make friends with humans and vampires. One of the solid proof of what they believe is Park Jihoon.

Jihoon told us that when he was a baby his village was attacked by evil vampires, and The East Of Cassylum managed to drive them away. Only he survived from the cruel massacre and The East Of Cassylum decided to take him away. Everyone thought that maybe the baby had become a meal for the vampire but it turned out that all of the assumptions was wrong. He grew up, alive and healthy in their protection. And it's no secret anymore that Jihoon belongs to the prince from The East Of Cassylum, Lai Guanlin. The talented young vampire who stole the attention of humans and vampires because of his intelligence and his cleverness in battle. Despite his young age, he is one of the most feared by both of sides because he is known to be the most powerful and dangerous on the battlefield. And Jihoon is always at his side.

Hunter from western association is crazy enough to kidnapped Park Jihoon in the moment they are off guard. It was a battle between The East Of Cassylum and the rebels. The hunters managed to infiltrate and took Jihoon away, and for that they came with a quiet expensive price. From twelve best hunters whose managed to kidnapped Jihoon away, only four returned alive. The rest died at the hands of Lai Guan Lin.
